Since this is a food thread, I thought I'd mention to pay attention if anyone is buying a turkey on special right now. My father has been having a hell of a time trying to get one on sale. Wal-Mart had them for $0.68 per pound on special. Rung up for $23 for a 15lb turkey. Didn't notice because there was a bunch of stuff in the cart. Called and they said take the tag back to any Wal-Mart with the receipt and they can fix it. He took it back to a different Wal-Mart that's closer. They said they didn't care what the other Wal-Mart said, they aren't taking it. I just rode with him to the original Wal-Mart and they fixed the issue. Then I wanted another one because that's a week of food (sometime well past Thanksgiving) for under $10. Can't eat much cheaper. Anyway, got a 13lb turkey for $0.68/lb. It rang up for $20. Had to get the manager again to fix it. She said it looks like they never changed the UPC so they're all charging at the normal rate. My father asked how many people have noticed and came back. She said none, and I hope you're the last. Then my father sees someone walking by with a turkey and tells them. They check and theirs is the same way.
He also tried Save-A-Lot, which advertised $0.48/lb. They rang it up for $20-something too. Cashier had no idea how to fix it and the manager was out running errands so he left the bird with them.
Anyway, don't be a turkey. Check your receipts.

Most people are in too much of a rush to check their receipt in the first place, good eye. We get a free bird with our grocery store. 23 pounder waiting to get devoured.

Couple days ago, homemade chilli. Chorizo hamburger meat onion and garlic, kidney beans, diced tomatoes, green, red pepper and seasoning. What did you use for sauce? That red really pops!

I just deep fried a big batch of boardwalk fries as part of a simple dinner with hot dogs. Too interested in eating hot fries to take pics.
No wonder I'm 300lb. Everything I post here is covered in cheese or deep fried. lol
