It will work.how long for is the question, I've done burst of speeds at 13k rpms with a stock crank, but figured it be a certain amount of time until it will bend from such high comp and rpms.

As long as you don’t have a bunch of miles on it and your bearings are within spec it’ll work but its life will be shortened. The cranks are actually pretty stout. 11k sure, continued use above 12k I’d limit.

Everything else has been replaced a couple times.

I'm looking at Athena Evolution Pistons because the kit I'm picking up is a 12 mm and my OEM crank is a 10 mm, and they have three different choices: a, b, and c. I'm assuming a is a normal piston, and B and C are for overbore?

I’m certain there is an “A” piston in there. Standard is usually “A” and each 10-15 thousandth over is the next letter up.

So, I'm crossing my fingers it goes thru ok, but I found a guy who'll ship me a set of jog rr wheels and a jog rr motor out of England. Shipping is killer, like $300 or so, but I'll be one of the only guys around with jog rr wheels! I'm such a geek haha.

Dunno if the wheels are gonna happen.. they are in real poor shape not sure if I wanna spend almost $500 on wheels and a motor if the rear wheel (at least) needs stripping and powder coating (if not refinishing) on another note, I've heard kx85 reed blocks fit minarellis with some "clearancing". Any body know about this?

Also, should I stretch it? Scooter tuning has the 3" stretch in stock and I'm making an order anyway.

Your scoot is already low. I think with the stretch that will bring the pipe pretty low and it may not fair well on driveways. I personally would not but I know you like your stuff low so...

I was planning on using a longer shock to keep it the same height off the ground, but ya I already ruined one pipe. Maybe not right now.

Shame about the Jog RR wheels. I always found the handling quite good on the 12" wheels. Shipping is a killer on anything big. Not really sure what the difference is between the Jog rr, and the aerox engine. Yamaha quote different specs for both. The radiator on the Jog is tiny compared to the Aerox one. At least you will have some shiny stuff to bolt on.
