They don't cost really much, something like $5-10. [/div][/quote] so, I actually went looking for some. The only one I could find was the most version that was angled, and I heard the holes don't line up right.

All done bolting the motor together. I put the shrouds on after these pics. Squish seems right on (0.8mm-0.9mm) I think she's good. I still need to mod the case for the torsen arm, and mount the pipe.

The ziptie around the filter is for support. The carb was hanging on the boot and didn't seem good to me. I'm gonna end up getting a new filter anyways, I may come up with some kind of bracket to hold the carb more securely. Corrosion always used to tell me that carb boots would go bad regularly. The carb boot is an integral part of this manifold, if it goes bad I'll have to buy a whole new one.

Currently waiting on more parts. I ordered some jets and a choke cable adapter for the flatslide. Thinking about opening up the rear end and checking it out to make sure everything is good. Also thinking about changing the rear disc to a smaller 180mm rotor and bracket since this 190mm and bracket is slightly hitting the wheel.

You just need to recut a caliper adapter, I’m at 210mm and I clear, not by much, maybe .040” on the valve stem area. Did you cut into the case or just use an adapter?

The carb is too much weight on such a soft part.

I ground the case flat and was able to make my own bracket. You may be right- I may be able to re-clock the caliper to get it to clear. The brake line bolt is just barely touching the wheel as it rolls.

You might be able to slot one hole slightly to rotate it in and gain some clearance.

I'm kind of proud of the rear disc. I did it myself, and I get a lot of comments on it when I take it to rides. 😁

I’ve got a love/hate relationship with mine. Love the way it looks, stops great but pads only seem to be available in the UK, and the cases are purpose cut. You can’t really recut your cases so I’d try to rework the bracket. This is what I came up with (thicker bracket now)

All I had at the time was a 4" grinder/cut-off wheel :/ I've gotta nice Dremel tool now, but if I was gonna redo it id either do a conversion hub and keep the drum brake or I'd use an aerox case.
To be honest, I've actually noticed a difference in Rolling resistance between the heavier disc brake bikes and the lighter drum brake bikes. My old prebug was way quicker off the line just cuz it rolled very easy, and it had front+rear drums. Drums have no rolling resistance compared to discs, that constantly drag the pads on the rotor.
