Dumb question, which model of torsen are you using for this build? Sorry i'm late to the game I got this used from Ryan, so whatever he says is probably true. But, I'm pretty sure Polini makes one for the u.s. zuma. They make a few of them. You can probably find one for whatever motor you have without having the mod it.

Eventually I'll make a small shelf to sit in the bucket and give me some space for tools and oil Kydex... I'm probably going to use ABS plastic. I use it a lot at work, and I know it pretty well. You can heat it up and bend it like that stuff, but you have to get it pretty warm.

By the way, if someone with a Zuma wants aerox wheels, let me know. I've got a full set available with front fork, and they're aerox 100 wheels so they're basically bolt on. Gonna be spendy, like $600 I think.

No wheels left, and not been one on eBay. Was never a very popular model here. And since they stopped making them in 2004 its getting hard to find them.

Just swapped the flatslide out for my old 21mm pwk. Runs waaaay better, don't even know why I tried something else.
This thing is FAST. The hard lowered front suspension is a liability now. The bike gets up to 60 or so real quick, and I haven't even dialed in the jets or rollers yet.

Put it back together and did a little turning. I have a 112 Main Jet in the 21 mm pwk now. Pretty good I think. I love how much clearance this pipe has.

No real tuning. Didn't touch the cvt, didn't swap the belt, still don't have the carb dialed, still not quite broken in. I'm pretty sure 65 will be easy, maybe close to 70.

I just dropped the pilot jet down to 30, mixture screw at 3/4 turn and jjh needle in middle notch, and it still fires up first kick with no choke. Main jet at 112, 21mm pwk. 30/112 seems lean to me, but I am running a 'small' 21mm pwk. I need to ride it a little cuz I may have to up the main now. Off-idle response is way better and crisper now.

Went riding around yesterday and it felt good, nice and snappy. I think I like the 30pj. I'm actually going to use this carb on another bike and swap it with an oko I think, maybe a 24mm.
I've also been thinking about swapping the rear wheel with a keisler 5" wide wheel, and/or maybe swapping to a 150/70-13 tire.

A 150/70 seems like too much sidewall, I’m at 140/60 and it’s near perfect. I think 150/60 or 50 would be the ticket.

A 24mm sounds good.. are the wheels sold? no, I just like the bigger rear wheel keisler has. I do know someone who wants aerox wheels on his Zuma but the adapter is hard to find. I may have to make one out of a Zuma wheel.
