Exactly. Still not an airbox haha. The red part (on a uni at least) is only the 'coarse' filter, meant for dirty and dusty off-road conditions. They actually sell a version w just black foam for snowmobiles cuz they ride in a less dirty environment than quads and dirtbikes. They also sell an all black version for road bikes with a black rubber cap. Here's a link to there clamp-on filter selection. unifilter.com/online-catalog/clamp-on-air-filters/

here's a pic of my prebug I found. Its in pieces now, waiting for the bugeye to get done so I can start on it. I think I'm gonna do sr50 wheels or maybe some cool alloys like the ruck guys have. I've seen some wheels for Honda monkey bikes that look cool.

Got to install my new carb today. Threw a 112 main in it for safety's sake. Idles great and seems rev nice n crisp, maybe a little muddy in the mid range tho. Now I've got to find a 90° filter cuz my frame hits the uni and knocks it off. and I gotta put a milder rear torque spring in it, Probably a yellow. After that it should be just about done. For now.
Oh, also removed the center stand. Only kickstand now.

Swapped the main to a 102 and air screw out 2 turns. Also swapped the rear spring for a yellow. It's raining and cold and dark so I'm waiting for tomorrow to test ride it.

Rode it this morning and it's doing much better, still rich tho. Head temp hit about 180 or so with wot. I found a 98mj in my carb box, so I think I'm gonna order a jjh needle n a 35pj and see if 35pj/98mj/jjh will be a good combo.

I definitely suggest the overrange for anyone with a minarelli motor. This is the best cvt mod I can think of. This bike has 11:1 gearing (10.9:1 I think) and 13" wheels, and it's still faster off the line than when it had stock gearing and 10" wheels. and it's consistent. I can cruise at low rpm then hit the throttle and downshift to reach 10k while accelerating. This cvt setup works like a properly designed cvt trans should. I'm very happy so far.

Not much space left around that front wheel.

Not much space left around that front wheel. nope, had to trim some. I've gotta shorter tire, but it's used. I'm saving up for new viper strykes, smaller in front & bigger in the rear.

Also lovin the whine of the straight cut gears when I decelerate. Sounds bad ass.

I was looking at the exact same airbox few days ago and thought it is a great item since it was made to fit a PWK carb. The only thing that worries me is filter replacements. I couldn't find any sponges for it. Does it use the regular size Jog filters?
Never mind. They had a link for the filter sponge in the description.
Model no. KN-INGA-BBAF
UPDATE ORDER PLACED!
