benjiYou did 2 naked handle setups. One on the Prebug and one on this build. What are you using as fuel gauge?

Not using anything as a fuel gauge on this one. No speedo or turn signals or nothin, just tach and cht haha.
The prebug had a fuel gauge, kinda. I used a warning light pod from a tng Venice (with lights for high beam, turn signal, oil level, and fuel level), and that had a warning light I wired up to the tank sender, so it would get brighter as the fuel level went lower.

Just got hooked up with a hit clutch, now I gotta start trying to understand it haha. It came with purple clutch and pillow springs installed but I'm pretty sure that's for a stock tuned bike. I may put it on as-is just to see how she works.

I haven't put it on yet but the springs on it now are for a high rpm set-up I think. I'm gonna try it as-is tomorrow and list what springs they are weight-wise.

The purple springs should put you around 7-7,200 depending on their condition. I ditch the pillow springs, they delay the lockup and give a softer engagement. Without them you may get some chatter on slow starts. You can just use minarelli springs just get the correct length. Surely a great clutch.

Also check that you don’t have any interference between the clutch bell and TD. You may need a shim with the OR.

Thanks Ryan! I'll check it. I think spaz said he had an extra spacer for me, I gotta check back with him.

I put in my DR clutch and the purple/purple combo seems perfect. Starts to grab around 4k and is fully engaged by 7-8k. Nice and smooth and quick. Also swapped the rollers and test rode, ended up with 31.5g in the vario (5.25g×6) and I think I may go to 33g (5.50g×6). Still need to order a jjh needle and lean out the mid range. A buddy gave me a silicone elbow to make an oem airbox-pwk adapter, i still gotta get around to trimming the box tho.

Think im gonna end up w 5.5 or 5.75 rollers, and I'm probably gonna buy a s6 or ncy throttle (or switch to a thumb throttle) but this bike is pretty much finished. Man I love riding it haha. It's been crazy cold but I managed to take it to the store a couple times this week and it is an awesome bike. Crazy loud and gets lots of attention haha. I love ripping up the street on a custom bike. No other feeling like it. Btw, this bike was originally bought to be sold. I bought it thinking I could sell it for parts, but I couldn't sell any besides little things, and it's got "title problems" so I couldnt sell it whole either (no one wants a no-title bike). Eventually I started making it run and slapped on the aerox wheels meant for my prebug. I'm glad I decided on making it nice cuz it'll be a good daily rider. The bugeye frame/body is about perfect size for me and it's a nice size bike for 35-50 mph city riding. Now I can make the prebug a racebike haha

Now I can make the prebug a racebike haha That's good you gotta lot of popcorn, cuz the prebug will take awhile haha. But I'm thinking sand bike. With a rear fatty and a paddle tire. I'll start the other thread soon and be more clear.

how did you cure the title issue? bought a 4t vino. Poof! Title fixed . If anybody asks, it's a '06 vino with a 'full zuma conversion' haha. The bike isn't stolen, and I ran the vin w the local police to make sure. It was abandoned on a repo house property, and no title work done on it since '09, not even tabs. I might do the Vermont title route on this one someday.
