I keep thinking the same thing, but using a double flanged bushing-type insert. Hopefully the plastic would flow around the channel (I don’t know what kind of 3-D printer you have, and if the plastic is molten enough to flow around a channel).

Moving the bearing Pockets 1mm back each side. Note that is not a automatic facing boring head. It took forever.

Modifying flywheel side for Piaggio seal.

Skimming the cylinder surface and the 2mm center case spacer.

Mock up fit, to check variator stuff and starter stuff. It didn't fit.

Ported the cases and cut the cylinder bridge.

Modifying kickstarter stuff.

Testing kick starter.

I am ready to final assemble the bottom end. I ordered this pipe. It is supposedly the highest HP pipe for this cylinder setup.

Still need a 28mm carb, but potentially I could get this thing running by the end of the week.

Well this is going together. I machined up a spigot to mount the Mina backing plate for this mina inner rotor MVT kit.

Then this beauty showed up.

R&D Italy R/T 95 Pipe. It's pretty damn nice.. I am having a hard time coming to grips with the fact I have to cut it to get 25ish more degrees of header angle...

So to make sure I don't mess it up and to play around with exhaust calculators I made a nice little sheet of the lengths and diameters.

You might get away with a bigger carb btw. 28mm is more or less for 70-80cc. A 32mm would give a higher output probably?
