Maybe I should start looking for a Ruck, this is giving me evil thoughts.  I agree! I'm thinking about one too, however i may go the route of buying both halves of the frame and working up from there. There's only one ruck for sale in my area not from a dealership and they want $3700 for an o9 with 1600 miles clocked. Its not even dressed or built up, just bone stock. And i hijacked the thread. Mr Tydeancustoms, i love the amazing detail you show in your build here, and this is such a great insight to a less than traditional workup of a ruck! I really enjoy builds that go beyond bolt-ons because of the magic trickery a good fabricator can accomplish! Sorry to keep the hijack going Ty, guys keep in mind it might be cheaper to get a Honda Met and buy a ruck rear frame and a few other parts to turn it to a ruck. Or you could just buy a ruck rear frame a battery holder and a ruck swing arm and have yourself a metruck. Because the front frame is the same, you have some options. |

Work continues. Tab for coolant bottle.  Tabs welded to motor mount link for fuel pump.

The motor mount will not only hold the fuel pump but all of the Helix electronics. So a variety of tabs and bolts will be welded to the motor mount. Everything pictured will be installed on the motor mount.   |

Thanks Happy. Last night I did some work on retrofitting the Helix ignition to the Ruck. Cut the Helix mounting bracket, 90 degree bracket will be welded in place to join the Ruck and Helix brackets together.    |
