Have you tuned with a wideband before? Quick read with a little info about air/fuel ratios. Not trying to insult your intelligence, but I know some people hear 14.7:1 is the stoichiometric ratio (roughly) for gasoline and think they should tune there. Even a scooter YouTuber wearing a lab coat like it's scientific put a video up saying that at one point, and otherwise it was a good vid. www.49ccscoot.com/faq/richorlean.html

I'll definitely look over that info since I have never used a wide band. Thanks for the info 🙏🏽

Have not messed with the wide band or the variator yet. Went from 44-45ish to 50mph top speed by swapping from a 118 to a 112 🤓 -Current set up- Main jet: 112 Idle jet: 32 Needle clip: top AF screw: all the way in and ½ a turn out Top speed 50pmg @ 7400rpm At that point I ran out of road. There might be a possibility to GET this set up a bit faster. I can hit 8800rpm on the stand but then it starts bugging down. This is currently as lean as I can make it with the parts I have.

-E-clip pisition on the Needle (jjh)-
*All tests done with rear wheel off the ground*
Bottom: Got to 7500rpm before bugging down
Next one up: got to 7800ish rpm before bugging down
Skipped one and went to the second from the top: bugged down at 8300rpm
Top: got to 8800rpm before it started bugging.
I don't have any other size needles or smaller jets so this is as far as I go for now.

When you get more jets, make sure to get the same brand if possible. The 2Ts I'm usually on are more sensitive to lean conditions, so don't freak out yet, but I have melted holes in pistons by assuming that a 110 was bigger than a 105 in mixed and matched jets before. Checked with jet drills and multiple jets were larger or smaller than they should have been. I set all of them aside and bought the entire range of jets that I'd likely be near using from Polini so that doesn't happen again. Once more, your 4T is prob not gonna melt anything, but weird jet sizing will most definitely make tuning difficult.
Also, some scoot shops will be (or already are) doing Labor Day sales so you may save a few bucks. Check the coupons section.

Oh damn I didn't think about that. I'll make sure they're the same brand. Thanks for the heads up 🤙🏼
