Picked up the blue starter relay. Hopefully this solves the issue of the missing power to the starter. 🤞🏼

Got a care package from a subscriber. Not sure how they will work but I'll be trying to install them next week. From what I heard from him, it'll be a big difference

From what I heard from him, it'll be a big difference I was just looking at these same lights, I hope they work out and don't get too hot. The others I looked at had fans on the ends and bulky relays. Fingers crossed.

They made these aftermarket kits illegal in the U.K. Now. You can still buy them. But at yearly inspection time your vehicle will be classed as not road worthy. Something to do with the light lens reflecting the light pattern differently.

The place that does my inspections usually doesn't do motorcycles that often and are mostly oogling the ruck so much that I may 9r may not be able to get away with some stuff. It's fully "legal" now but it hasn't always been lol

Something to do with the light lens reflecting the light pattern differently. They did the same in California. It has to do with diffusion (I think that's the term). Some LEDs have a really small diffusion angle, so when the car bumps up and down on the road it looks like they are flicking the high beams at you and it blinds other drivers. Regular headlights have a wide angle so when the car bumps up and down it not such a change in light intensity that it blinds you like the high beams would.

Ive swapped from hid to led on my bike, and it seems ok current and light wise, but definitely not as bright as the hids. They take less juice to run tho, but not much less really.

I switched to some Xkglow LED's and they are way brighter with a "whiter" light than stock. I had HID's but they were car HID's and they were causing electrical havoc on my bike that not even the best gremlin bell was protecting against.

lilpinny, did you get the Xkglow LED with the fans? If so how much noise do they make and how friendly are they to the battery? Also, do the relay boxes fit inside the already cramped battery box?
I really want to keep the stock look but I'm tired of the faint yellow bearley visible 35w candles Honda provided.
