Ok, got the ruck running and was able to take it on a ride. SEV and pokedbytoast came to my house so we did a ride close to my place. Showed them the Buddhist temple, since they straight up surprised me and I didn't know where else to take them to lol Somewhere along the ride I lost one of the bolts (it was too short, I knew it and should have replaced it) but I was able to get the bike home in one piece. The exhaust might have been dragging towards the end but who's counting right? Lol Then I went to the hardware store and got the right size bolt, some lock nuts and washers. Installed them with some locktite and hopefully they hold up. I swear at some point I'll buy the m8x30 1.25 bolts vert told me about so long ago. Next up is a new battery.

Nice riding with buddies. Exhaust Problems are definitely a Ruck thing! 😉

After scraping the exhaust for a few miles on a group ride, I decided to repaint it to prevent rust. I also did a much needed oil change

Wow, it's been a while. The ruckus left my possession for about two and a half years. I was lucky enough to get it back about a year ago. It's been dismantled so I'll have to test the new harness to make sure it works well, clean the carb and definitely empty and clean the ¾ full gas tank... That last one is gonna be fun *he said sarcastically* lol This is how she currently looks. Should not be difficult. It'll just take dedication to set aside some time.

I take it was stolen and recovered? I’ve lost and had two bikes returned to me. Definitely seems. Like it huh. But no, it had been at a friend's place for a while, and it had some electrical issues. Then a local shop that has a YT channel but works mostly on Groms offered to swap a new harness as "content for their channel". After like 2 years of nothing I went to pick it up and this is how it looked. Most of the parts are there, but I know for a fact that there are some dress up washers and bolts Missing. Over all it was a pretty shitty situation, specially because the shop pretty much made me pay for half of the cost of the harness, even though they didn't even do the full job. It still looks the same. I have to fix the issue with the exhaust bolt hole/get a new top end, troubleshoot any issues it still has and possibly weld mounts for the current exhaust I have to prevent it from breaking again. I'm just a big discouraged because if the whole thing, but i hace most of the parts for the CT70 build I should have started years ago. But until the ruck is back in running order, that project is in the back burner.

Glad you got the bike back. And the shop is lucky it is not me, I would definitely be telling everyone how bad this so called hack shop is.
