lilpinny, did you get the Xkglow LED with the fans? If so how much noise do they make and how friendly are they to the battery? Also, do the relay boxes fit inside the already cramped battery box?
I really want to keep the stock look but I'm tired of the faint yellow bearley visible 35w candles Honda provided. I got mine from mnnthbx. He has some that have been done up as a drop in replacement for the stock Ruck bulbs and has a video in his how-to section on a step by step install... how to modify the waterproof boot to fit them and everything. His kits include all the zip ties and little things you need to make it work. I think he still has them. They do make a little whirr but it's nothing. I stuck the ballasts (they are called ballasts) on with 3M double sided tape (strong stuff) under the front of the BB like so: It's really simple and works awesome. I'm sure there are cheaper options out there but like everything mnnthbx does, it's awesome and totally works.

I was looking at something like that until I got mine in the mail. Free is free lol

Got a care package from a subscriber. Not sure how they will work but I'll be trying to install them next week. From what I heard from him, it'll be a big difference So, I went ahead and got these and I'm impressed with them. Went for a Scoot Tag ride with them and they got warm but not as hot as I would've thought. The bright white color is the same as my led light bar(removed the light bar because it's no longer needed). They fit nicely with the stock headlight bracket(I used the Brandon Ryan lower bracket though) and dust covers, and are very battery friendly. They were also about the same price as halogen bulbs(candles), go figure.

This is a horrible pic of that the difference looks like from the front. It looks way better in video *hint, hint" They're the "low beams"

If everything goes well I'll be riding tonight to meet up with the NWHMM guys. I'll see how the 12g rollers that came. With my CVT behave. Based on my latest run to the pawn shop it felt like the last ΒΌ throttle didn't give me much more speed. But I didn't go too far so there were lights and traffic

Texas weather is bypolar. After my meeting I had to ride 20 minutes in the rain. Not a fun experience. I think the various speed trials might have vibrated too much. The other stock exhaust stud broke off.....but hey at least I know how to fox it now π€·π»ββοΈ
