Is the frame that light weight aluminum or steel? Where is the added length at? Thanks

Frame is Steel.
I assume the length is where the seat is, as these seem to have a longer bum than the Zips.

So Jean @ Scootertuning.ca hooked me up with the old straight across swaperoo. Traded the Minarelli cases for Piaggio. Full Onion.

I knew it would be a perfect engine for the typhoon. The color schemes there. You'll pretty much have a highly modified piaggio zip when your done. 🚀🚀🚀 I like the typhoons body style a lot. Guess I'm gonna have to follow you now.... Good looking out ST.ca

Love the slicks on this scoot, sooo sweet. Can you get slicks for 13 inch wheels?

the Heidenaus are THE BOMB.
From someone that rode TT92's on the road, the 80's are as slick as they get while being dope in rain too.
For the price, unbeatable (that said, there is a sticky Vee rubber tire i wanna try too)

Heidenau makes a S6 branded 13" slick. I remember seeing them shopping new tires.
FWIW, I went with the IRC MB99's. I had been running the ubiquitous Pirelli SL26, but honestly was not a fan. I ran the MB99 "dual" (there is nothing dual about them, they are straight street just a different tread) when I had 10" rims and liked them a lot.
At the time the regular MB99 with the "A" tread was de rigueur in Japan, but for whatever reason were impossible to get in the states.
So when I saw the reg "A" tread MB99s on scootertuning I was tickled pink, especially given the price point. They may be a little soft for your build if you expect them to last, but they are grippy and handle 15x better than the SL26.
I think Avon and Metezler have some options in 13", as I'm sure you know. If you look for Aerox tires you might see more results from Euro sites.

Just finished editing the Malossi Rc-One buildup Part 1. Took forever to render, it's a long one. Also got a better mic so the videos dont sound like poo.
Oh I put a easter egg 49cc inside joke in there someplace as well

Looking good. Brings back memories... in case your wondering the rc-one is ready to go out the box. You don't have to change anything with the carb. Thickest gasket put me at .75 of a mm. I wanted to set the cylinder with the gold gasket but everybody talked me into pump gas for a nicer ride around town. Which before I had another hyper race scooter wasn't a bad idea. With the typhoon being a piaggio motor you might already have the piaggio variator star key.

Yeah I have a few bins of motors. Also apparently you have to use one of the OEM axles as the piaggio kit doesnt come with an axle.
