Rebuilt the forks, put the suspension back to stock, built a mild 70 shortcase and I think I fell in love with this thing again. It looks proper with a shortcase in there.

If any of the across the pond scoot enthusiasts have a hook up on a Piaggio NRG MC1 or MC2 front end or NTT I would love to swap this over.

Fork wise
Did you get a F32S again?

Yeah. Jean @scootertuning.ca hooked me up solid with an amazing price. Plus who can afford the f37r... my cost on that still makes my eyes water.

I just picked up an 05 Typhoon and I love it! Tell me about those forks! I didn’t know there wasn’t an alternative to the USD ones that come stock.
Do you feel pretty confident with the stretched 3.0 x 10 slicks?

The suspension was the best upgrade I have ever done. The stock forks are usually so clapped out. I liked it so much I also modified a set onto my other Typhoon as well.
I have been bugging Jean to put them on the store because the stock forks are always clapped out.
It's night and day different. having actual rebound dampening adjustment makes all the difference.
The slicks are crazy grippy. But if it's damp or cold your gonna get icy till there is some heat in them. It depends on your confidence level, really driving them daily isn't the smartest, but if you know that unless it's hot out and you've had a few minutes of run time they are pretty forgiving, I also am not the smartest fella.

Is this the front end that you went with: www.scooter-attack.com/malossi-fork-f32s-piaggio-typhoon-nrg-m469550-39.html?___store=sa_enI didn’t see them listed on scootertuning.ca Is it a bolt on kit or does it require and fab work to retain the stock brakes? I live in Texas. It’s hot more often than not! I’m thinking about either the Michelin bopper tires or 3.5 x 10 Mitas slicks. This is not a commuter so that isn’t a real concern. Why did you shorten the engine mount?

I wanted that zip wheel base, I probably wouldn't do it again if I did it all over again tho.
Not listed on their website, email Jean@ scootertuning or message them on facebook messenger they can order anything you see on scooter attack. I have told him they would sell!
It's the F32S and RS24 shock.
I want to try those mitas, fortnine has them from time to time.

Also it comes with everything needed to make it work, you can do a brake upgrade but it's not needed, you do need to countersink the brake rotor with a 90 degree countersink for new bolts if you use the stock setup.

Wow thank you! Last question: how much bigger is the aftermarket rotor?

Also the boppers are huuuge and heavy. Just get a 90/90/10 or 3" tire. Looks way better imho
Not much selection tho in those sizes, most scoots are 12 now.
