Engine looks like a 2t to me. But not exactly the same as my 1E40QMB

Engine looks like a 2t to me. But not exactly the same as my 1E40QMB Hmmm, hard to tell from the pic. It is an older one, so might have been 2T back then. The intake manifold certainly doesn't look like a 1E40QMB one.

You can call me "simple", but that looks like a picture of a 2 cycle to me?
If it is a 2 cycle, it is a Geely....... meaning there are subtle differences, I know the stator/ignition system is different, and I read somewhere the variator is different (if memory serves).

Yeah, it is deffo a 2T, you can tell by the head. The newer Geely 50's are four pokes, that's what made me think it was.

Intake looks like my 1E40QMBs It for the rear facing airbox. I was just wondering if anyone knows what engine code it is I am thinking of buying it.

That's a 90cc minarelli and the seller doesn't know it's a 90cc. Notice the 1E50FM on the cylinder? Some of the old Geelys did come with 90ish cc engines. That made for lots of happy people that thought 49ccs were pretty fast! lol That is a style of intake that some minarellis use. I almost bought this engine some time ago, but 190mech pointed out the rear shock mount location to me. See how it's farther forward and elevated?

I definitely agree that this is a 2T from the look. The intake manifold is very far from the head, indicating it leads to the block. I checked the engine block code (CTRL+scroll is a God send) and 90GTVert is correct. 1E50FM. 90cc. <sigh> This is why we have to be so careful on eBay. I have only bought one solitary thing from there and if I have anything to say in the matter it shall stay that way. Even this guy...his arrogance is clear, even though he is incorrect: "This part is intended for a geely 50cc scooter so please do not ask me to measure". What a douche bag.

Not a bad deal for an almost complete 90cc Mina IMO..

It's not a bad deal for any engine, really. I mean $80 is a decent price. But pity the little man who orders this thinking he is getting X and when things fall to pieces he runs into this guy and his attitude. I've never dealt with the fellow (hopefully I never have to deal with anybody on eBay again for as long as I breathe) but his wording doesn't convey a personality of reason. Then again, I suppose business is business. If the buyer knows what he is buying (even if the seller doesn't) then it's a win-win for everybody. DB gets his $80 and 2strokd gets his 90...cc's that is! LOL!

Well if its a 90 I am deffently going to buy it I need a short case Minarelli with the shock mount where it is. All the 90s I see the shock mount is located in the wrong spot for my scoot.

What you mean intake is located far from head looks normal to me. Are do you mean because it points back instead of forward?

Bought it. I see what you mean by the shock it is a little closer than even mine but at least its not way back and down like most 90s I see. So I should make my rear end a little higher. Which would be nice.

I suppose I should have clarified earlier, but it's probably not actually a 90. I just kinda generically call them 50s and 90s sometimes. If it is what I think it is, it would be a 42mm stroke and a 50mm bore, which would be 82.5cc. If I'm correct on the stroke, the addition of a 54mm bore would take it to 96.2cc though.
