so I gotta ask, which set of panels do y'all like the most? blue 84 aero, white jdm af09 tact, or red jdm ab07 tact? also color choices, metallic pearl orange, metallic bright blue, or a pearl metallic charcoal grey. I'd like some input. thanks everybody!!!

I'm trying to make her perdy. I see it like classic cars, these little 30 YO scooters are cool to fix up now. and I cant just ride something that I might pull up next to an identical one at a traffic light. everything I own is custom. never had anything stock... for too long. lol if youre ever in the whittier la mirada area, you just might. I roll all mine on a daily basis. sometimes 3 or different scooters. if I make enough stops back home. I just trade them out! lol. where in LA are you located?

so cases are matched cleaned bearing and seals installed. ported the stock cylinder for now. my getto degree wheel lol cylinder really opened up the much restricted exhaust port cleaned transfers and boost. think im going to run a Yamaha 40qmb piston w/ 10mm pin. has almost same dimensions as AB07 honda 40mm, Yamaha 40mm and honda stock 41mm- 47mm big bore honda stock 41mm from either AF05E (spree or aero) is a lot shorter than Yamaha and honda 40mm

not sure if I should make relief cuts on piston top or run a couple base gaskets. hmmm decisions decisions.... transfers

Looks like a cyl base spacer is needed to get the piston dome flush with the bottom of the transfers,then the combustion chamber squish will need adjustment,,Stacking base gaskets is 'spoogy' and allows cyl torque to relax=blown head gasket...

thanks for the advice 190! that picture looks a lot worse than it is though. theres no gasket in that pic. but you could tell theyre not gonna be flush. I think it will end up flush with 2 thick oe gaskets. if not ill be figuring out how to work my buddies new cnc plasma to make a spacer. I wouldn't want to try and make one by hand. cutting gaskets by hand is a pain in the ass as it is! I cant believe these old Hondas are off like that. Is it to restrict them? all jdm motors ive layed hands on have things that are different porting for 1. but all use same pistons as US. I wonder what the idea behind that was
