yeah i agree with 2stroke i dont expect to be revving the engine that high but i might look into it down the road once i upgrade the exhaust and carb.
i have some injector 2 stroke oil in the garage can i use this for premix or do i need specific premix oil?

Just how high do you think your gonna rev lol? Ive pushed OEM cranks ever 11,000RPM many times with many miles and never broke one. Maybe i was lucky hehe? ive pushed one to 12000 and it nver broke but its better to be same then sorry

I believe his engine (derived from a Honda) uses a 12mm piston pin (though I am not 100%), and none of the dicks selling the cylinder/piston kit are saying either (or trying to sell a rod bearing). The part # for the kit is VX319987

What do you mean reveen? The malossi cylinder and piston wont fit my scooter? It says its for the super 9 air cooled or are you talking about the crankshaft?

I am saying: "don't count your chickens before they are hatched", it is, in my opinion, sight unseen, that your engine has a 12mm piston pin, which is much stronger than the afore mentioned 10mm pin...... don't sweat your crankshaft.

The wrist pin is the pin that goes in the rod and the piston and the C clips hold it in correct?

I measured the wrist pin and its 12mm so i dont have to upgrade the crankshaft since its the stronger one
