Cool,I allways wanted to gut out the nasty electronics on mine, but never did.. Lighter is faster!😀 A buddy has an old cb 350cc 4 cly I believe is a 1972.? That I am thinking about talking him into donating to me for a cafe build Now that your build has sparked old memories.😎 it's looking good!

Finally got some more work done on this bike. Got the wiring and the controls mostly finished. I still need to fix #1 and #2 carbs cuz they're leaking/overflowing, but I've got parts on the way. I need to paint it and put on some air cleaners, and also put on a taillight. I'll post more pics soon.

Man this was hard. Chem stripped 3 times, wire wheeled twice. Finally down to bare metal. Now I can spray paint it haha.   |

I know over here modern paint stripper is not a patch on the old stuff. Without all the nasty chemicals in, stuff like petrol tanks take ages.

Tank on and painted, electrical all done (besides taillight) gotta paint the motor parts still and fix the clutch. Almost done.   Also I want to swap in a gold chain. |

Just sold it. It needed a clutch cuz the old one froze in our recent heavy rains. I didn't wanna do any more to it anyway, I'm tryna slim down for my big Arizona move. Here's a couple final pics.    It was fun to build. I wanna build another someday, if I can find a clean bike to start with. |

You’ll miss it. I still think about the one I had. Making the transformation is fun but getting paid in the end is also nice.
