Unless I come to my senses I think I’m going to go pick this up tomorrow. MUCH more then I wanted to spend but reliablity, resale and features have turned me away from the off brand China utv’s. It’s a 2015 Polaris RZR 900 XC, too bad it doesn’t have a 2T motor.  I’ve having a hard time spending this amount on myself, my wife says go for it. But is it a trick... I have seen those around here with plates on the boulevard before, pretty cool. You only live once. And yeah the wife likely has something up her sleeve if she is telling you go for it LOL! Some states you can register them for road use. Not here, although snow may be a different story... |

I think she just wants her alone time back. She’s used to me in the garage and when I’m inside pestering her, her response is don’t you have something to build. Thats super nice , the only chinese once i would buy in a side by side would have been a CF Motor Z force 1000 V twin
Cf motor is actually a really good manufacturer from China . Just here in the Us they have no traction at all and they cost 13 grand lol
Hey i have a good tip for you . Check copart you can find side by sides scooters motorcycles , some are totals rollovers burn etc . But you could buy them on the cheap sometimes and build one good one out of two heaps and have two for half the cost . For instance i saw RZR like that a rollover go for 650.00 I should have got it for the drivetrain ! lol

I was looking at the cfmoto products but they are right up there with the cost of a Polaris machine, they do look nice though. I never thought about copart.
Edit: The copart locations close to me don’t have any. They mostly seem to be out west.

Well typical CL bs... the guy is close to 2 hours from me so of course I wanted to be sure of paperwork before I head over. I asked if he had a title in his name, he says the origin paperwork is in his name. Ask for a pic to make sure it’s not the certificate of origin which for the second or onward buyers would be a pain to transfer. Well no response. Asked again and nothing. So the search continues...

It may be easier to build a UTV from scratch than to find someone on CL with what you want and the brainpower and courtesy to be worth dealing with.

I sent another one a message asking their zip code to see if it was too far before I bothered asking questions. Their response was, call so we can talk details. Well no I didn’t want to talk I just wanted to know where you live because you were to lazy to add that info to your CL ad. |

Just be careful man a lot of people get robbed from CL like that .. If the deal is still on make him meet you at a public place with it and take a friend or two ..

I’m so indecisive... My practical side said it was better to just get something so the kids can ride. I should be able to squeeze in so they can run me around or I can try to flip it with them. For the price of a used Polaris 170 plus more room, better lighting, doors, independent suspension, etc - BMS Avenger 150. It’s powered by a GY6 150 so it’s not a rocket but I’m sure the kids will be happy with it. I’ll wait to kill the motor before thinking of 2T swaps.  |

Talk about slow transit times... ordered on 12/13 it’s finally due here on 1/8. I guess that’s what you get shipping freight across the country around the holidays.
