I like the one I purchased for my express. looks to be a stout quality piece. I got my c3 bearings and seals at grainger though. what rpm were you running that stock crank at regularly?
other than the cases and hardware, you've replaced every part of that engine now huh?

8700-9000. Tuned pipe length.

I've had a persistent "tick" from the 70cc kit for some time and just wrote it off as slight piston slap. Some investigation leads me to think that the piston skirt is hitting the PA50I case. PA50I case was made for the slower version of the Hobbit and a ridge was included in the case to prevent head swapping from newer versions.

I'll either grind down the case or use the PA50II case i have. A bit reluctant on the PA50II case as it is from a Jialing Chinese clone hobbit.

Going to try this short intake over the hydra intake I had. The long intake got real cold and I’m sure some gas pooled in the intake at high rpms .
New PHBG 21. 100MJ. Replaces the Keihin PC10C .

Made a leak checker. Neighbor 3D printed a plug for the exhaust port on the cylinder.

Found a tig welded clutch over the spot welds. going to increase springs to yellows. Dropping to 3 g sliders. Hope to get better launch.

The Derbi head worked extremely well at keeping things cool.

Looking to use this KX65 reed block. Have to shave down a bit to fit the Dio spacer. Good clearance from crank on mock up. If the weather is good, I’ll install and give it a rip. Cheeers!

Tightening up squish band. Turned out great! No air leaks! 150psi-ish compression.

The bungee cord worries me. And maybe your drinking habits near a welding rig.
