Gotta be careful out there, been ran completely off the road and the car never stopped. Still annoying to think about, especially when the cop that responds asks you if you got a license plate 😐 sorry I was laying on the side of the road, I saw headlight behind me felt the hit but didn't get a look at the car.
Atleast your driver stopped and I am very glad that you are OK and nothing damaged

Got in a scrape the other day, going like 15-20mph on my roughouse, hit a deep pothole that I could not avoid sending my front end into a terrible head-shake (death wobble) I was not able to get it under control and ended up dumping it on the street. I was wearing a helmet and a basically a sweatshirt and jeans. I landed on my right arm got some scrapes and a sore shoulder out of it, thankfully I was able to quickly get up and get everything out of the road.
Definitely looking into some better gear after that. It wasn't any fun...

Glad it wasn't too bad Steve. The good news is, it's not tough to find all sorts of jackets with CE 1 or CE 2 shoulder and elbow armor included or at least available. CE 2 is the higher standard. Riding pants that are comfortable and fit well on the other hand...

That would be an interesting project. I have seen a couple of Piaggio typhoon trikes built for wheelchair users sold over the years. They were sold under the Nippi brand. Boothy ironically used one in budget bike battle Britain. Saying he had a bad leg from a crash. So it would come in handy. Not realising he would lose his lower leg at the TT not long after.
One of those with a 172 motor would be crazy exciting.
