Well today I took my son's belt cover off so I can see what weight rollers and contra spring I put in his as that one is pretty pokey with the 80cc bbk kit on and checked carb needle position and jet size. I wish I had made notes when I did it a couple year ago, just gotta put it together now. I have a new 80cc bbk sitting in a box of bits which will go on when engine arrives and I have a spare couple of 80cc heads hanging about which needs valves checking and since buying a valve compressor will make job easier. I found an identical carb in another box of bits and I have a jet from my jet set so only looks like a head gasket set and away we go.

Changed jet in the spare carb. Carb looks like a new one I never used and found the head when the stray cat came in the shed to hunt mice and the A9 cam. All I got to do now when back from work on Saturday is remove valves and grind in once done friends Ford Transit and her bicycle. Plus I found some new variator rollers once I weighed the ones took out my sons scoot and head gasket set on way.

Blooming hot having to wear a waterproof coat because of rain and wind this evening sweat like mad its so humid with all the heat 59f and rain would have thought the winds would have cooled things but nope.

And so it begins! 😁 Feeding the addiction. 😉 I can neither confirm or deny that comment. I think I might make a good politician with that comment. 😝

Engine build coming along 80cc barrel fitted A9 cam fitted. After measuring the cams to find out which was which I noticed A9 printed on it.
