Well I'll be dipped in dog poop. After all that its out with the new and in with the old 70cc engine. Couple of niggles on the new one and got this on ebay so quicker change over all prepared tonight ready then it will be gone hopefully! New one can then go and sit in the darkest corner of the garage till I get the addiction back to do something with it

Indeed it has so far due to the fact no time to rectify things as I'm going away to Portugal Monday and can save the 80cc for another time 190mech

Just leave it. Then post what a skilled rider you are. Dragging the stand on every corner.

Today after shopping and getting back home I took the Rat out for a spin see how it was on single hills with hairpins so lots of slow riding wanted to make sure it would get up the steep stuff. I am still only see 35mph on the flat max unless gradiant etc but am really happy as the gearing is now perfect for stop start in hilly conditions. All I need to do is put on another headlight with a proper beam spread and I am finished with it for now. That may hapen tomorrow.

So it Continues, the head for the 80cc engine arrived so it will lower the compression a bit rather than the 50cc head on it.I shall be putting that on hopefully by midday and engine in. Early night and out at 05.00 in morning to do it 😊

Today my ankles hurt after carrying two engine and taking out the 70 and putting in the 80cc, quick road test and all appears good. i changed the fuel tap back to vacuum feed as not sure if other was giving enough fuel but as I was hunting for tap I found two end bar mirrors and cobbled them on. I only had them for about 5 yrs but match the grips. it started raining so will take a spin out tomorrow if dry was about 10km's faster though. Well thats both scooters finished bar little things now so off for a bath and rest my swollen ankle.
