It is a Christmas Cactus, My Ex had two. They can be forced to bloom at other times. Ah yes, that name rings a bell. Thanks for that!

Thought these were Spanish Bluebells in our garden which I was told have no scent today I sniffed them and they have. Deffo not the wild type though by appearance. There is white one's to.

I always think of my mom that passed away when I think of flowers. She reminded me of a little girl when she'd plant and fuss over flowers. It was cute.

Went walking through a deserted University in Lampeter today with daughter Beth, wife Yolanda and granddaughter Alicia all keeping our distance forever being reminded by Alicia who nearly 4 not to get to close. Then we played Pooh sticks in the river from the bridge. Saw lots of blossom and an interesting tree I could not work out what it was and Alicia went and played in the cherry blossom.
What tree is this?
That's no tree, that's an Ent! JK Looks like a nice place for a walk.

The previous owner of my house (couple decades ago now, how time flies) had all sorts of perennials, and although I appreciate them, also neglect and don't know what to do with. The house has undergone many constructions since then, the porch being one of them, and these are the last survivors. Again, not sure what they are called. Their latest long term neighbors are the hops plants, whose bines are a foot or so long and showing signs of a healthy season.

Would love to plant a bunch of little trees and shrubs in my front yard. Too much damn work, bikes are more fun! Same place/time with different light setting Nice night out, big snow storm moving in! (yeah, no crap)

Mother nature plants trees in my front yard. I just chose which ones live. Makes for 'interesting' plantings. My neighbors just call them my weeds. My ex was a very haphazard gardener. She planted stuff everywhere. Stuff blooms around 8-9 months per year. It is a PITA to maintain.

Great pics! The tree is an Old Man's Nose Tree. It exists to see to it that people who admire nature are rewarded.
