well, these lily's have grown tall ; the tall stick looking plant/tree is a Papaya; mom got 10-15 papaya's thru the winter ; Big ones . She has about 10 pineapple plants with about 6 pineapples growing well

I looked all over the web and this might be the biggest Staghorn I ever saw anywhere. I brought it home from ?? about 25 yrs ago ? . back then it was manageable enough I could pick it up and put it on top of the upside down bucket . now I need a forklift. it was about 2-3 ft. across then . the oak tree used to be huge and sturdy. for a few years it hung from that.

Saw this Black Tower Elderberry last Autumn and snatched it up. Seems to be happy this side of Winter. Looking for a nice privacy vail for the porch. So far so good, lots of fresh green chutes. The deer stayed away from it, even better, though often spray things down with butt-smelling crap that makes things unlivable for all air-breathing creatures. Once it's older and taller I will be less concerned but still aggravating none-the-less. Oh well. There are lots of cool google pics of these, mine is less than a juvenile.

The ferns I had last year were so green n lucsious that they made me lose the flower allure. Or maybe I'm just too macho heh!

Foxgloves I have never seen mixed colours on one plant before. They are quite prolific in the hedgerows round here but this was in the neighbours garden so maybe a hybrid? I will have to ask.
