First real rain we've had in weeks, so refreshing. Can't remember the exact count, but something like 8 days in a row that has been 90F plus.

so much color . that's cool.
a friend of moms came over with 2 okra plants , bout a foot + tall and I swear they've grown over 2 ft . in 2 weeks . poor old papaya is gone now ; sucker was a good 7 ft tall . we got 15 or 20 papayas from it tail end of last year . no idea how old it was ; hated to see it go .

Okra blooms are amazing! I've heard there are ways to prepare them free of gooey. And of course there is always
'OOOO KRA_COLA where the gas goes whistleing down your throat; and the grass smells sweet, where good friends meet, while Uncle Earnie attempts to ride the goat.......'. Which proves Weird Al virus is contagous.

nah , I just wondered if it was Illinois cause I see corn off in the background and I'm pretty sure it's a corn state . don't know about any others .
