You may not have put it on but I have a feeling you still made engine noises through it... Looks great, I’m sure it’ll sound pretty nice once on there. lol! I barked only once

It has taken a while. But worth the wait. My Mivv system with cat delete, was crazy loud without the baffle in. Only needed about 10 seconds with the bike running, to put it back in. Sounded like a formula one car! I used to go out at dawn on weekends so I could ride my favourite roads fast. Before the police and traffic was up and spoiling the fun. I don't think my neighbours would of been impressed. Ear plugs will have to be part of standard attire. I was ticketed once for loud exhaust on my car, and that was only because I burned out at a traffic light. There just so happened to be a police car sitting right there behind a big snow pile. He was like, "Did you really not see me, or just bustin' by chops??!" The sound ordnance violation was probably the lightest ticket he could write, $100. There are so many loud-ass harleys around here, if the cops want to pull me over and not them, it's only because my bike is so bright. Never say never, but we'll see.

Been looking into bar end mirrors to replace the OEM air sails. Rizoma should pair well with Mivv, no?

CRG make some nice mirrors also. I’m using the lane splitter version, they fold in for parking or err lane splitting.

Dropped off wife at the office and just kept riding. Stopped by Nine Mile nuclear power plant. And looped all the way back around just for this pic, how could I not

Still another 260 miles to complete the break-in. Could not wait, the proboscis has to go. Mocked up the new pipe and fender eliminator. Need to make a couple brackets for the turn signals, maybe tomorrow. Using old plate from CBR to dimension things out

Spent most of my time this past weekend mocking up blinker brackets out of scrap aluminum house trim. Tried mounting both below the plate, and above. Mounting them above seemed to make the most sense, and provides somewhat of a macho stance width-wise - I liked and hence went with. Once that was figured out, I Saw-Max'd some proper thick aluminum sheets that I dragged out of the trash pile at work. Threw on some rattle-can semi-gloss n let dry overnight, mounted in the morning, and rode into work - 30F and sunny as hell. It was a blast. As it normally goes, I rarely ride directly back home from work. Got 420+ miles on the ODO, less than 200 to go before the ECU lets the beast out. Starting to really lean into the turns, tire wear shows some good angle, but ain't knee draggin' yet. Anyway, was "only gonna mock things up and put it all back to stock when done" (yeah ha) but man, it's so nice to be rid of that damn fender. Done. Mounting bracket also remains in place awaiting new pipe.

Dude that is one scary pic. What does Mr Duke weigh? He looks damn fine! Curb weight 360 lbs, 43 HP. Will be 350 lbs (??) 45 HP after ECU and pipe are installed. I'll try to remember to weigh the pieces - the stock exhaust system is very bulky and heavy, though tucked away very nicely nonetheless.

So close ... sooo close to post-break-in performance. Rode 70 miles today. Cold front blew in n kicked my ass. 19 miles to go, hopefully.

After 620+ miles, the ECU restrictions are now off. The beast has finally been unleashed. The dealer is "indefinitely closed" like so many other places, so I did the proper checklist items according to manual. I have so many sidebar comments now, mostly good, so, the bad... this is the biggest PITA oil change machine I have ever had to deal with. Leave it at that. If it weren't for a buddy that came over to socialize over a suds (or two), I was gonna begin the ECU piggyback installation. Fine with me, something to work on later. The Italian Mivv pipe is going to be ultimate. Got to about 80-82 mph before changing the oil this evening. There was a lot of crud in the oil screens. Next up, quick start guide awaits

Took all evening to get the wires routed where i wanted. It's a nice kit. Finally got the piggyback ECU in. Mounted the Map 1 / Map 2 switch on the left handlebar

I wanna play around with the maps before I put the pipe on, chances are that is a very short lived period of time
