Instead of repeatedly posting in "Show off your recent significant purchases" I figured this deserves its own thread.
KTM apparently offers semi-periodic rebates, and when I went back to the dealer to buy a new Duke 390, the rebate had already ended. The guy said there will be another one but don't know when. When it does kick back in, he said he was going to buy the KTM 150 dirt bike that was behind me, so that was convincing enough for me. I'm hoping February. In the meantime, I have already purchased the Remus S-Flow "full exhaust." It was delivered a couple days ago, and I was immediately like, where is the S-Flow pipe?? The cat-eliminator that I specifically purchased from mnnthbx because all the pics and videos were exactly what I wanted. I don't like it and want to return it, let's see if they charge me the 20% restocking fee. That's ridiculous. So whatever, I found something even cooler, and just placed an order for the Mivv full exhaust. It tucks way up on the fender, love it. Italian. Badass.
edit: Need to mention, apparently Remus is imported only through the state of California, which has the strictest emission laws of the union. Therefore the S-Flow pipe (cat delete) has been outlawed and no longer available in the U.S.

That video was a sound demo. However, they are claiming +0.80 HP / +1.4 ft-lb. From what I have read, the exhaust is such an integral part of the design, there's really no performance gain from throwing on something else. A remap is certainly necessary. Even if you don't swap out the can, a remap is highly recommended. As a result of emission laws, these bikes are really leaned out, thus compromising engine response across the RPM band. Besides that, the cat weighs some 13 pounds.

Had a Mivv system on my Honda 599. Good quality, and sounded awesome. Was louder with the baffle in, than my mates CBR600 micron race pipe. 😁

My bad, they do provide dyno charts. The +0.8 HP gain is for the slip-on. The system I purchased is +1.9 HP. Here's the chart:

Had a Mivv system on my Honda 599. Good quality, and sounded awesome. Was louder with the baffle in, than my mates CBR600 micron race pipe. 😁 I had a Hindle on my old CBR. It was pretty loud, but probably not the loudest.

Got insurance set up today, plan to pick up new bike tomorrow. EM Lineamoto (Mivv vendor) replied earlier in the week saying there were some complications at the depot, and that they were going to express ship "at the end of the week" and email tracking info. Haven't heard back. That mofo better be in the mail.
