Well, this is a place holder for now. I'll post as I can afford to buy parts.
What it is, a 1992 Razz
Engine from a vertical Jog
Everything's stock at this time, but it just can't stay that way, cuz I'm touched a bit and stock just doesn't cut it. Its quick and sketchy and likely to kill me soon, but I'll die with a smile.
Plans: Some type of BBK, I don't know if I can justify the price of a good one to the wife, and happy wife, happy life, and all that. But, I like the looks of the sspg kit. I want to slap a bigger carb on it, the stock TK is just tiny, but it works fine for a stock bore.
I'd like to toss a different TD and clutch in it, but was too lazy to measure to see if my three shoe Jog clutch and TD would fit. If it did it would be a tight squeeze. Didn't count the final drive ratio so not sure what it is.
The stock brakes are plain horrible. Scary. Fuck the tiny little drums that probably do good for a stock bike, but I don't know what options I have. The back wheel is already as wide as possible with stock pipe, so that sucks.
Gotta fix the kick start shaft, the grooves for the lever to bite on are gone and its more a soft triangle shape than round. Other than that, its fun. Sketchy as hell, but fun.
Will be updating as my financial abilities allow me to buy tids and bits.

Pics! I want to see this one! Nah, you don't. She's a fugly girl right now. Crackhead special, clean VIN, but the look is right. I'm at home now and the bikes are back to my shop, so I'll try to get some up ASAP if I can remember my IMGUR acct. Or what's everyone use now?

I want to see the mount!
I swapped the drivetrain and suspension from a buy eye onto my Razz. It’s a different machine now. There’s a build thread for it around here somewhere.

I will post pics asap. The mount is...you guessed it super fracking sketchy. The spring bumps don't really have anything to hit against, but the two square shank bolts are there for the torsion mount. The original mount used a single square shank, the Jog used two.
I'm thinking of welding some ¼ inch metal for the spring bumps on the mount to have a perch, but other than that its actually solid, even in a rough gravel road. Sketchy due to the skinny tires, and the no bump stops, but functional.

Quick question y'all, how does everyone feel about Motoritec products? They have some nice kits for decent prices, like a nikasil aluminum cylinder for the verts for about the same as a no name chinesium iron kit. Here is a kink if anyone wants to look, the aluminum kit is on the bottom of the page. www.motoritec.com/01_shop/01_detail.php?id=129&title=Big%20Bore%20cylinder%20for%20BWS%20ZUMA%20JOG%20Slider%20CW50%20CG50%2047mm%20%2070ccThe kit that's presented on the links main item section is honestly the cheapest one I've seen, even with shipping....sad.This thing could be disgusting if parts weren't so damned pricey.... Edit: scratch that, I'm an idiot. Nikasil kit is horizontal. I'm an idiot....duh. Also been wondering about something, probably a very stupid idea, and likely wouldn't work. I have the geared engine and cylinder, that seems to share everything but the drive system with the Jog, but what I'm wondering.... Like I know it would alter port timing, and shape, but could I have that cylinder bored? I'm curious, I know the bore job would alter the ports, but without some serious measuring, and math, I'm unsure how much they would altered, or if it would just ruin the cylinder. At this point, I may try it anyway, just because. It would be kind of cool, make ole Sketch even more unique. Any thoughts? I'll have to wait til after work to measure the cylinder stud spacing, and height to be sure it would even fit....

I would say that kit might be okay... I sell almost the same kit for $149.99 shipped to the US, theirs is $137. Pretty darn close of a pricepoint so it might be a very similar design. We also sell a nikasil/ceramic coated aluminum kit that I'm putting on my personal scoot but it's different than the one from that company. Ours has the boost ports in the exhaust and not bridged, but theirs is bridged. So, these kits do have differences.
I would definitely pay upwards of 150 for a nice kit rather than boring out a stock cylinder and having weirdo ports... but that's just me. And yeah I wish you could run an aluminum kit, I kinda feel like they cool a lot better ( I need to get a temp gauge myself)

Yeah man, I've no illusions that I'll be able to afford an aluminum kit. I'll be lucky, honestly to get an iron kit.
The only reason I'm even lightly considering the bore is so I can claim stock....lol. Look, Five-Oh, it says 49cm3 right there, I can't be running 50mph... The fact that it can be done for under a bill is just icing. But, like I said in the original mention, I have no clue what it would do to ports/timing.
The way this thing is, I'm nearly afraid to have it too quick. The brakes are shit for stock, and adding umph without adding whoa isn't very bright. I've looked at your kits, they look great, good quality, fit, finish seems great, prices are better than most others. IF I can ever dig myself out of this winter broke as hell stage, I'll be ordering a kit, but not working 5 out seven days a week is murdering my tiny ass savings. The bikes, sadly, have to take a back seat.
To be perfectly honest, I know i'm not in the financial position to build tjis bike right now, and not 100% I will be this summer. I'm just using the poor thing as a way to stay out of my head when Im forced to not work. Thats not a good place to be for anyone.
Keep rockin dex! Cant wait to see what ya do with that bike of yours....

Made it to the shop for a little while tonight. Had in mind to take the center stand from the geared cases, to swap to the CVT cases. That's a no go. The CVT cases havd a 6 inch mount point, the Razz cases is 3½. Brought a horizontal three shoe jog 90 clutch to try, fits the shaft just fine. Won't fit the cover. Stumped again.
Noticed the head on the Razz engine has an angled plug hole, slightly off center. The Jog engine is a straight up and down, centered hole, which is better? Did a little tidying up of the mess that is Sketch's wiring, cleaned the vari, and the rest, and slapped it back together. Sadly that's where I'm at for now. Still a stupid fun little bike to get around on, if I have time soon I'd like to slap the red clutch springs on it, just for ahits and giggles. Its got the blue (Malossi?) Contra spring on it, the stock one was super soft and wasted. The Variator looks identical to the horizontal clone ones, too bad that cover isn't thick enough to clearance for the bigger bell. Must be a 107mm clutch and bell, where the Jog has a 105?
Edit, picks to come soon. I hope.if I can figure this out again. Its been a while after all.

I want to see the mount! I swapped the drivetrain and suspension from a buy eye onto my Razz. It’s a different machine now. There’s a build thread for it around here somewhere. hope you can kind of see the mount and the way the pipe sets in there. This is the Jog pipe, I really want to use it, it has a better shape, bigger header with a taper, and the razz pipe is tiny as hell. I really don't want to use it...

I swapped the busted ass gauge cluster our of Sketch yesterday and pyt the Jog unit in its place. Fully functional. Also out a real sealed beam headlight back in, the one that was there I knew was shut, but didn't expect to find it was a sealed unit, that had been busted, with a different bulb/socket shoved in the hole. Yup, crackhead special, boys...
The bike pulls great to 36 then will slowly pulp to almost 43 before petering out. Stock, with unknown gears/weights/belt. The stock speedo seems to be close enough that I'd follow it if I get this on the road again.
The pipe is probably gonna have to go though. Sucks, because the Razz pipe is tiny, tiny header, tiny opening, tiny outlet. At least this one is big enough to handle more flow if I do get a bbk, not sure the Razz pipe is.
Need to get a new left hand control unit, none if the switches work, no e start, kill switch, nothing. Everything else on the bike does work. All lights, horn, everything. I'm extremely shocked about that... The Jog has a nice tail light block, but its got the black blanks in it still, so I may try to find the lenses, because its pretty damn neat looking. Or will he when I get the crackhead spray paint off of it ...

Stock Razz shock : 10 inches
Stock Jog Shock : 10 inches
Stock Beamer Shock : 12 inches
By using the longer rear shock, the engine handle changes, its not drastic, but it raises the exhaust about an inch, almost 1¼ in the lowest area. That's nice. I was a but worried the pipe would catch on a steep right lean. Not cool.
Managed to completely loose the cylinder cover and don't know how or where, but screw me I'll have to find and buy a new one....more $$ more problems. Wait..
The razz forks are puny looking little things. May use the Jog forks, they look a little better, still tiny.
Gotta do something with the front brakes on Sketch, when they do catch, they stick. Not a little either....not cool. Will figure that out soon enough. Gonna clean up that rear light housing from the Jog looks like a repo of a JDM housing, I'd be seriously shocked if it isn't a repo, but its been spray painted.

Well, I just learned something that apparently everyone else in the world already knew. The geared cases are 41mm bore. I was thinking to use the cylinder from that engine, because the exhaust flange is clocked different. But then found the reeds are stupid tiny, I mean stupid tiny. .the reed cage is different too, lot smaller and badly shaped, IMHO.
After seeing the reeds and cage I decided against using that cylinder, then found it was a whopping 1mm larger. Not worth dealing with the tiny ass reeds and intake ports, for what amount to basically no more cylinder volume. Pointless to deal the headache of bad breathing to gain a miniscule amount.
I noticed a leak at the base gasket if Sketch. That's what set this while fiasco in motion. After seeing the 1e41 reeds, the ones in Sketch look frigging huge.
