OK SO HOW DO I GET THE tires off the rims, i think removign the tires from the bike wont be so bad, but how do you get the tires off the rims, i have no tire machine to seal beads on or anything like that perhaps point me to a article or something on the web so i can get an idea EXACTLY what is involved, i ma very VISUAL person (if anyone didnt notice from my photos of everything) thanks speedy

I just did this on the rear of a customers bike last week, took 15 mins. I should have taken pics. I am supposed to be doing more this week, I will take pics of my procedure. you will need the following tools: Valve core tool: Open end 10mm wrench Knife A friends air compressor or do this at a gas station. get all that mentally and physically ready for when i post the pics.

thanks raven, yeah just squeeze the tire together like the picture shows, instead of vice i use a clamp i got from northern tool (posted earlier) do this by the hole where the stem goes. install the stem, shoot air into it without the core in order to set the bead, then put the core in, put in 40psi and viola!

very helpful, i guess i am missing the tire irons, the vice. I can get the valve core tool lol
So it is not about not being able to do the procedure, its about the fact i dont have the proper tools for it
But your right it seems easy, thanks speedy, i am probably going to leave this one to the guys at the tire place
