It is amazing, the performance difference the factory trenching and angled intake make when you get rid of the restrictions. Then bolt on a 70cc kit and pipe, your at 50. Plenty fast enough for 10" wheels! Yes Plenty fast For the suspension brakes and tires . Cruises effortlessly at 40 mph . I live out in the Country every road 100 yards from my drive way is 45 mph + So i have to be able to get on it Just for safety .

Upgraded suspension One more very important up grade for comfort. Up graded the stock shock to a yasusu 245mm 28 bucks courtesy of scootertuning.ca .
Rode both Vino's one with upgraded shock one without . Ordered second shock . The new shocks are adjustable if I want to dial them in farther .

Last Week Swapped Second Shock On My Vino. It already has the Malossi wild Lion Exhaust and Malossi Variator and Upjetted carb. It Pushes 43 mph . Went for a Sunset Ride with my Bride . Hers is way Faster . So I have a Malossi Sport Kit that I just need to Chamfer and Freshen up the exhaust port.

Freshened up the Cylinder raised exhaust port 1mm so I can get a little higher RPM. Chamfered all the Ports with some hobby files I bought at Lowes I find the round one works best. Just knocking off the sharp edges cuts down the chance of snagging a ring. Polished the exhaust port to Mirror finish started with Files then 60 grit worked down to 400 grit Hand polishing with WD-40 by hand takes the better part of a afternoon. The rest of ports I leave Rough and just knock out any slag . I have seen guys get to happy with a dremel and ruin there cylinder so It takes longer by hand but is safer.

Break In time I am of the warm it up real good and ride it like you stole it for the first couple of Tanks of Gas. The key is alot of up and down the rpm range for the first couple tanks of Gas . I did have to adjust the idle mixture a Bit and The 72 Mikuni Jet main jet runs best for safety. I did another sunset Cruise with my wife . We ripped around for 1/2 hour .Through town and in the country. Stopped for a Couple Margaritas .

Dialed in the Cvt 6 gram sliders get the malossi variator to just under 2mm. She shifts at 8000 rpms Medium polini clutch springs work fine . clutch engages about 5k rpms Swapped a stock zuma contra in The vino one wasnt firm enough and had some belt slip . I have leaned on it a little bit It does rev past 9200 rpms

I still have Stock tires on for now . Have Michelin S1's to go on next . I went up a size on the back to 90/90-10 the front I stayed with the 3 inch tire on front. The Wild lion has a Pretty Wide Powerband it starts pulling at 5000 rpms and lasts beyond 8500 rpms it Over Revs to past 9k rpms . I set the CVT so I am in the Power Band when the Clutch engages and then it jumps to 8 k rpms . I need to order 6 gram sliders for my Wifes Scooter. To see if I can get some more RPMs with Power She is done at 9100 rpms I still have a little bit past that . I just Might have ported mine a notch better.

Went on another 30 mile cruise with my wife last night ,180 miles into break in the new cylinder . Progressively testing it for longer an longer . We had to go full blast for 1/2 mile . The New Build does push 9300 rpms . I will GPS after a couple more Tanks of Gas after the cylinder loosens up . AT best Guess I am around 50mph right now . For those that care about Gas Mpg both Vinos get 60 plus Mpg .

These little scoots are easy to make fast . Upgrading tires and rear suspension is a must , The ride is so much better Jumped on my wifes She has upgraded shock and tires It corners so much better. I still have stock tires they dont lean as well . Running at 50 mph You are over running the brakes so having the suspension and tires right is critical . I am gps ing ths weekend if I get a wind free day I am over 250 miles on build

Buying the right jets Not all Jets are the same There are Genuine Mikuni the one on top and Knockoffs like these Glixals Mikuni . They are the right length ,thread size and hole diameter . One big difference is the angle of the jets and depth which changes the flow rate . The Glixal jets act about 3 % bigger compared to the same size Genuine Mikuni Jet . Based on Jet size that starts to gurgle in the stock carbs . When buying jets It pays to buy a few extra sizes in case you are buying jets cast just a little differentlly
