That 70 is impressive. I'm looking forward to seeing how you do with the 103cc. I had a mild 96cc (something like 180/120 with a PG pipe good for ~9000RPM) in a Venus (Chinese knockoff Vino). It was a lot of fun even like that. I always figured it would be a real handful with a more powerful version. Currently my 86cc in a large frame will pick the front up with me (300lb) leaning forward on takeoff if it's having a good day, so I don't think you'd be able to stop the little Vino from coming up on WOT takeoff and maybe not even at lower speeds. You'll either be like me and do a lot of bunny hopping or you'll get good at riding wheelies.
If there's another OC car show (like Endless Summer Cruisin' in Oct if it's not cancelled), you guys should come out and play. I went to the May show alone because it was cancelled for obvious reasons, but last year 3 of us rode together at the Oct show. Unfortunately the cars didn't show up like normal because of coastal flooding and they didn't seem to want to play too much with the amount of cops around, but we had fun racing each other from red lights all night.

Sorry to thread jack, but I’d like do a group ride when it’s safe. I’d even drive up for that.

I appreciate all the support and feedback on this build! I’d love to get together with some of the locals and whoever wants to join soon for sure. Maybe we can setup a thread or get the admin to make an official event.
Some updates on my build.
Intake, reeds, and 28mm carb getting installed today followed by a pressure test. First start very soon! Look out for a video soon.

I just said basically the same thing in a PM with guti, but it may be a bit before you find me in any gathering. I live with my parents and my father is 72 with diabetes, congestive heart failure, a-fib, and more. I don't want this stuff, but I really haven't been taking many chances for his sake especially. Really just depends how things pan out.

Well I’m a home theater specialist during the day, scooter builder by the evening. Work at my buddies shop building and selling scooters all day. So it all comes second nature. Give me 4 stroke 2 stroke and with the right tools it’s apart and rebuilt in a hour. So I’m always doing stuff and finding bikes to put stupid engines on. Lol
