New project! You’re looking at a 2000 Yamaha Vino 50 2T. 3000 miles and still in great shape. the knows: - Needs new ignition, gas cap, and seat lock. DONE. -Needs deep engine cleaning from oil leak. DONE. - Needs new carb and air filter. ON ORDER - Needs new rear panel and seat bucket. ON ORDER - Dual throttle to single conversion. DONE. - reeds and intake on the engine are slightly different. BUT can get a pretty nice aftermarket one if need be. THE PLAN: on order is a malossi 70cc sport top end. 19mm phgb carb. Stage 6 manual choke. Malossi Multivar. Malossi Exhaust. Malossi Delta Clutch. Stage 6 Pulley Front Face. Stage 6 r/t clutch bell. Malossi Kevlar Belt STR8 oversized fan. Stage 6 tachometer/temp mk2 mini. Upgraded suspension and brakes. Right now it’s bone stock and tops at 42. Parts will be in soon and the build will be on its way! My plan is to keep this bike SOMEWHAT tamed but not go all out. It will be a fast around town ripper and a nice restore to a classic bike.

You mention upgraded suspension and brakes. What are your plans for that? Are you swapping out the leading link front forks for telescopic forks?

You Say your Build is going to be somewhat tamed . I want to party with you man If this is Tame on want to see what is somewhat wild .
I have a pair of Vinos with Malossi bbk ,malossi wild lion, malossi multivar ,stock upjetted carb and I am hitting 50mph . These Little Vinos are a blast to build up and will wheelie easy. For the reed valves I just order carbon fiber sheets from Treatland and cut my own with a razor blade knife.

parts parts parts new cylinder i.postimg.cc/sxRBqmR7/E8-F64052-09-B1-4-E19-BE8-D-BCC83735-A5-EE.jpg[/imgso a little issues with the stage 6 bell. As you can see, little threads left. I had another stage 6 bell and that worked perfect. This one the center spline was deeper so....not sure. Oh well. so I’m thinking of mounting the stage 6 gauge in the center of my forks where the 4 bolts are. I need to make a bracket but then I’ll be able to look down and get all my info I need. Still looking stock from afar. did some quick tuning on the clutch and carb it it RIPS. stay tuned for video and update. Still breaking in the cylinder. Lol

You will love the Malossi kit on that little scoot . Mine just cruises effortlessly at 40 at under 8000 rpms . I looked at that stage variator drive face what is the diameter of it ?

This is a 107mm clutch and bell. I ended up using a 107 off a malaguti phantom f12. Same engine style but I guess the bell spline depth was a little different. No issues at all with the setup right now. I have a malossi Kevlar belt number 6117087. Should have the belt go even higher.

The only issue that I’m trying to work on now is carb tuning. Less then 1/4 throttle it’s four stroking. Every other position is fine. It’s a 19mm phbg and I’m looking at the moped army article to figure that out

Like what I am seeing . With that pipe & carb and kit you might have a hard time keeping the front wheel down.

Exhaust is looking Puuuurrrrrdy I think Kitty is trying to tell you that the exhaust U bend will be very close to or hitting the rear blinker when the suspension travels

Should be good actually. I have AU japan style turns coming that will be integrated into the fender so it will be somewhat flush. I am honestly not really worried about it if I have to cut some thing
