The jet size I've seen most often on a 150cc setup with a uni filter is 120, so recommend you don't start with the 125. Try a google search, like, 125cc jet size, and you may get some forum hits that are relevent to what your doing? Ditto Goosey. On my Commute scoot I run a 1.20mm w/ an after market exhaust and a Uni Filter. No way a 125 could use that. Try a 105 main for a box stock 125 GY6 and that might be rich. RD

Listen to them. I've only jetted a few 150s and never a 125. They were
115main K&N + homemade muffler 130main UNI mildly ported head + exhaust 105or110main stock
I'm still not clear if this scoot is going to be jetted with a stock box or aftermarket filter.

The 120 does real well in this cooler weather. 60s <and below> F degrees, 500 ft above SL, and moderate humidity. When it gets to 90 I swap it for a 118. I run the stock 35 pilot w/ the needle up one notch from center. But a friend of mine has a 150 that won't take a 118 at the same temp. Oh, one other thing. My filter isn't attached directly to the carb. I have a 6 inch extension between the two. Just a formed piece of hose but I think it might just smooth the air flow going into the carb and make a small difference. RD

One of my favorite tools is the 12V Emergency Impact, with a 17mm socket. May be available at an auto parts store or on Ebay. Takes those nuts off in seconds without effort, used for variator (A) clutch (B), rear tire....

There are all kinds of niffty clutches and such that you can spend your money on. But it won't make the top end any higher. The clutch springs affect the rpm that the clutch engages. The stronger the springs the higher the engagement of the clutch. For the street I prefer stock or the 1000 rpm springs. I'm going to give Dr Pulleys Hit clutch a try as soon as I'm able. I can see that you have the concept down, but there are other variables involved. When you move the clutch engagement point upwards the variator is also starting to move through it's range of gearing. So if you just simply change the clutch springs you won't be taking off from first gear, lets call it. You'll be well into second or third, depending on how strong the clutch springs are.
Also the standard 150 doesn't have enough torque to make you wheelie with just minor changes. I suppose you could make enough gearing changes to accomplish that, but the driveability would suffer.
