This has been a long time coming for me both in finding the bike as they are super rare in the U.K. and getting the build of the ground

Nice build. The Polini sport is a great kit for these engines. I really liked mine. Those forks look good. Are they welded to the tree? Ever time I took the BWS wheels off. I couldn't believe how heavy they were.

Thank you aeroxbud Yeah I was really lucky to come across the forks! The old ones were just to far gone and I think these are better they seem stiffer and a bit more beefy.. what do you mean by tree? Glad to hear about the Polini engine as it was cheap And the ports were super sharp when it arrived so needed some attention Got this too to complement the front shocks

Got rid of the old style block light (on the tank) and got that slightly newer style, I think they were released with this light a few years after the first generation bws

I was referring to how you mounted the forks to the steering stem.I My old BWS now has aerox forks. The early ones fit straight on. I did find I had to space the cylinder up a bit on my vertical engine with the Polini kit. The piston was sitting above the transfer ports.

I do have a set of Aerox forks and wheels but I really wanted to keep the originality with the drum brakes and steel wheels etc...I do like the look of the Aerox forks tho...
