I found this new old stock period correct seat it’s the one with Yamaha logo on the back, a real find tbh I think they only came on the USA bws/zuma Im excited to get that in the post!

I got one of these Malossi torsion control rings to go with the mutivar kit any body had any experience with them I read a couple of good things

Made a little start on the graphics.. I still haven’t fired it up yet I’m inching to hear/tune it

Such a sick build. Your attention to detail is unparalleled. From experience, those low pro tires will kill your top speed... Just so you know... If that's important to you.

Thanks Birdman! yeah I had considered the top speed with those tyres the wheels will be tiny but I think its going make look very cool ! Might wait and see what top speed she has first before I change them

Seats fitted, what an effort! For some reason it did not fit every bracket/support was in the correct place just would not clear the tank! It’s as if you guys with USA Zumas don’t have the same tanks as the European models any way I unpicked it put the foam and cover on my old seat base also a couple more graphics ready for the front and back and the contratwist ring turned up so will be firing her up any day now

Had it running yesterday evening I did two heat cycles one for about 5 mins at idle only. Let it cool then second I let it run for 10 mins above idle and varying revs I checked the torque of the head nuts this morning. It’s running the Polini 88 jet that came with kit atm and the 7g rollers that came with mutivar it feels crisp as a base line I cant get it on the road to do a proper tune for 3weeks or so now I’m not insured I won’t start it now till it’s first road ride to the mot garage

I’m thinking of getting those 130/70/10 low profile tyres I might use this wheel for the rear or stick with stock rear wheel, what do you guys think? I’m in the middle of tidying it up so it’s in primer at the mo but I’m going to do the wheels in that mid night sky that I used on the front lip and kick start lever

You don't really see much of the rear, on a 10" wheel.
It will lower the gearing using a low profile tyre.

I really do like the look when the lower profile tyres are used on the 10inch wheels

Food for thought I guess atm
