There are online calculators which can work out the difference. I did think about getting some 12" jog wheels for the slider at one point. They look really good with low profile tyres. And are quite cheap to buy.

I’d really like to keep the wheels 10inch,
when you put those 70profile tyers on it gives it that banded steel wheel look
I’d probably keep the standard rear wheel but it’s fairly dented up on the rim I guess I can try the rear if it looks odd I’ll swap the tyre back
So I’ll loose some top end you think ? What do you think my set up, ball park top end would be with the fat tyers as is?
I have had 4 minarelli engines bikes over the years they all reached 50/55mph Speedo indicated can I expect that from this bws you think?

Checked out that Calculator from what I gather it’ll knock 5mph off at 50mph I’m guessing that Acceleration wouldn’t be affected?

That sounds about right. I was looking at fitting a lower profile to the typhoon. And it came out about the same. Give it a try. If you like it, just install a 10% gear up to get the top end back.

I had no idea the standard minarelli vertical engines have a restricted intake manifold
Unrestricted one on order!

Won’t let me Veiw that Aeroxbud comes up with a warning about it being an impersonation of Adrenalin pedstop. I see they're closing down
I replaced the reed block with one of those cushioned rubber coated ones then fitted the reeds that came with Polini kit, carbon i believe

I’m interested to see the difference in this intake I ordered, it looks identical to the stock one from the picture.
Are you still running the Polini sport on your Areox ?

I only ever had a stage 6 street race, and racing cylinder on my Aerox. I had the Polini sport on my slider, Minarelli vertical. Did about 3,000 miles on it. But sold it end of last year.

That's great it passed. I really liked the Polini kit on the slider. Would go past the 60mph on the speedo. So much torque it would always have the front wheel hovering on acceleration. These vertical Minarelli engines are a great unit.

Got her out again today on some longer roads didn’t pin it back for to long. I’m really meant to be going easy running it in, I kind of haven’t gone easy at all tho 😄so far I have Had 48 on the gps no probs. Any one notice the fuel consumption on these sport set ups! I did 33 miles and about half a tank of juice! It’s thirsty

I used to get about 80 miles to a tank on the slider. But the gauge didn't work very well. Could of probably got about 100 if I didn't fill up early.I That was in a city, so full acceleration a lot of the time. I did work out my Aerox once. About 45mpg. She had a drinking problem. 😂

I think part of the problem could be the size of the tank, it’s tiny! But it’s defiantly a drinker 😄 loved it tho, the throttles very addictive
