Yambws Giving you update on the Street Pipes compared to your Stage 6 Street
I ran the Wild lion and the Stage 6 Street and the NCY Sport Exhaust also known as ScooterWorks Street Pipe on my Roughhouse .
The Stock Roughhouse Cylinder exhaust port is very restrictive and holds the Rpms Down so the effects are not as dramatic as on 70cc .
I ran them all with slighly lighter than stock variator weights and a notch stiffer Springs .
Top End Stage 6 Street > Malossi Wild Lion > NCY Sport Exhaust The Stage 6 Rpms were the highest so I gave it the Tie Breaker over the Malossi
Take Off Malossi and stage 6 Street were just a notch better than the NCY
Sound Stage 6 Street has the Deepest Throatiest Sound
My Experience now with all the Major Street pipes Tecnigas Silent Pro,Gianeli Go copies (Malossi Wild Lion,Polini Speed) and Stage 6 Street. They are all a nice upgrade over stock very wide power band that powers right the dual angle torque drivers without skipping a beat . Small adjustments to Cvt is all they need . Stock Carb friendly Little more Top End but much better take off and mid range .
I would buy whatever one I could get my hands on they are all so close in performance .
The Stage 6 Street sounds the meanest

Enjoyed reading that update zino thank you! I have only run my latest set up on the bw,s with the s6 and the tecnigas rs11, I never did a gps run with the technigas I should do that. it’s a dedicated 70cc pipe. The reviews are not to good tho..
The biggest difference between the two pipes for me is the aggressive pull off with s6 the front of the bike will lift of the ground with just throttle input

That is my favorite thing about the street pipes the mid range and low power comes on quick . I Need 0-40 mph more than 60 mph plus any ways .
I added gears with a Street Pipe before they added about 5 mph and I just had to drop my variator weights a little so I would get the same snappy take off and shift points .
When you swap on a bigger carb . 17.5 or better is all you will need it will add another bunch of take off power and give you a little more top end

Yeah the bottom end is def more important to me, most people don’t like sitting behind scooters at the lights here so is nice to have that surprise 0-40 more than the top speed. As I have got older and wiser I’m not keen on pushing the top speed to much nice to know it’s available tho. I need some stuff to do to it when winter arrives so a carb will def be on the list

I noticed quite a difference in the slider, going to a bigger carb. I was running the Yasuni R though.

Many thanks for the links, that 50Factory website is amazing! I can't afford to buy any parts right now but that seat on eBay is very tempting!

What tyres you going for? I have new tyres for the typhoon. Going to get them fitted on Saturday. Not happy with the Vee rubber.

Went for the Dunlop scootsmart after a lot of deliberation. I was going to get the contitwists again that I had on the Malaguti but fancied a change
What did you get areoxbud?

I have gone for city grip 2's. The typhoon has 12" wheels so not a lot of choice. Had the change the rear size from a 130/80-12 to a 140/70-12. This will give me a 10mm wider tire, with 2 1/2 percent less circumference. The typhoon gets used every day so should be good in the winter. The Vee Rubber VRM 133 are truly the worst tyre I have ever used. Not very good in the dry, and lethal in the wet.

I have changed from 120/90-10 to 120/70-10 it transforms the look of the bw’s wheels
Why did you change width ?

Because you can only get a couple of tyres in 130/80-12 size. It was what I had, Kenda K761, or Pirelli SL60. Had the Pirelli on the slider. Quite liked them. Good grip for an aggressive tyre in the dry or rain. Good in winter. But I ride quite hard and would run off the edge of the corner grip.
When I had the BWS it really transformed the look and ride going to road tyres.
