here is what I did rechecked the valves and timing is showing in time with the T not the line it is idling now but wont pull till I lift the back end off the ground then it wants to rev up this makes no sense at all I thought maybe the exhaust was stopped up and took it loose from the engine and it does the same
anyone have any suggestions at what else could be wrong

I'd try to time it with the line first and see if that made any improvement.
If not, I'd clean the carb and check over the CVT thoroughly. Also, install the airbox if it's not already on.

ok I took the belt back off and it idles and revs up so does that mean that something is wrong with the CVT

when checking the CVT I know nothing I have been going by the PDF's I have got from here

sounds like your rollers might be all out of whack

I have 2 more engines to use parts from I will take it apart and check the rollers

rollers are in the variator ..inside the cvt cover, front pulley. not inside the crankcase
if you ran it with no belt on it the rollers are out of place.

well I can not get it off don't have away to keep it from turning I guess I will have to wait to get something to take it off
