OK I finally got the nut of had to use a small wrench inside the CVT wedged it in between the teeth got it back on the belt on
Now I am not getting any fire at all I just got the coil a month ago
It was running fine 2 days ago
this thing is so aggravating I said I was going to put it on craigslist but I love it to much to do that lol

You've eliminated the CDI and the kill circuit, but there's more than just the coil left. It could be the coil or the stator still. Below are links to an article and a manual that have info and specs about testing both. Troubleshooting GuideService Manual

I just tested the coil the primary coil is 0.00 and secondary with and without cap is also 0.00 and as I was checking these started to rain on me so checking the stator will have to wait

I just tested the coil the primary coil is 0.00 and secondary with and without cap is also 0.00 and as I was checking these started to rain on me so checking the stator will have to wait on the ohms scale are you getting 'OL' for 'open loop' or are you getting a reading of 0.00 of resistance? something doesnt add up there. remember you are checking for continuity not voltage, so you must set your meter to the ohms scale.

one i have laying here reads 1.4k as long as the coil is not open then its most likely not the coil. coils rarely go bad. do you have power to the cdi?
