I bet I can source a used buddy motor locally, you'd have to pay to have it shipped, want me to put out that I need a running buddy motor? I have a lot of local connections through my scooter club. Yes that would be great. I myself live in northern va. No problem. I'll put out a want ad for one and it should be no issue. Let me know what your max price is on it EDIT: update, found one. One guy crashed his buddy and is selling the whole bike as is for parts, $250. Im happy to rip the motor out and get it shipped if you like. |

It will probably be cheapest if you ship it in flat rate boxes with the cases split. Dig around the post office website and see what pops up.

So having twins really put the brakes on me finding a motor for the buddy. I finally found a bike to pull the motor out of and I'm picking it up on monday. Definitely not skipping out on the crank this time!

Yeah I was super upset to see it failed like that when I opened it up. Was a real kick in the teeth agter all that effort. The bike was ridiculous, really regret not submitting my speeds for the speed list. |

Yeah it was doing 70 no problem at like just under 12k rpms if i remember correctly.

The used motor has been slighly cleaned up and installed a prima pipe I had lying here, a bigger carb that im hoping I can make work right now, and a malossi variator with 6.3g weights to start. Hopefully she rips for just a few weeks till my parts all get here for the full engine build.
