I had metro forks lowered with a spring kit i forget where I got it from its was 10years ago. Also running an 80/90 front tire. I also used a Gdash stem. It bolts on. U can use a dio zx stem too but there is less clearance with the inner leg shield. My current 89 also has a Gdash stem but i went disk brakes instead of drums

I know, I'm waiting for him to get back but it looks like $111 each, and that seems too high. Ill just do rrgs at that point. Ya, I checked the link and couldn't see anything. Is there any welding involved?

Here are some close up pics of the (a)sss shock mount install. Fairly easy, but no instructions so I thought I'd enlighten. So, first I pulled the center spacer out of the oem shock to use on the (a)sss mount. Then I had to figure out how to bolt it to the frame. There is a hole that lines up closely with the gas tank bolt, so I used a 6 mil thread hex bolt with a washer to bolt the other side of the mount to the underside of the frame to the nut-sert that the gas tank bolts into. Then, I used a nut to hold the gas tank down, so basically using the bolt from underneath as a stud. Then I used a sspg drag link from www.partsforscooters.com (great store) instead of a shock so it has a hardtail rear end.

That front end looks amazing.
What lowering option did you choose? 2, 2.5, or 3 in drop?
