I went ahead and picked up a JDM pal taillight and a sa50 version of an af05e motor for it.   I'm not 100% sure exactly what my plan is for this one. The motor I picked up was real low mileage, so I might keep the bore and pipe stock, with just some cvt upgrades. |

....aaaand I got the wrong taillight. But that's ok. I guess the bubble tail for the pal is hard to find so it may take a while for one.
The motor should be here soon, and it should go in pretty easy if it's anything like the spree. I do need to source a shock for it, probably going to use an oem Zuma shock. I figure I'll order some malossi stuff for the cvt soon, and I might throw on a mlm techno pipe. The oem carb on the 88-93 sa50 is supposed to be jetted at 88 😬 so I'm hoping I don't have to rejet for the pipe haha.

That light is for the Honda pal with bumpers. U need the jdm panels to use it

I'm still deciding how far to go and what direction. I'm thinking of using the stock bore, as it's a really low mileage motor. But I'm obviously gonna do cvt work and a pipe. Supposedly, this motor comes stock with an 88mj so I may not even need to do any carb tuning for the pipe.

Ok, big post here Finally got around to starting this project. I have pretty much all the parts ready, except maybe a front fork if I need one. I even got a little scooter bench going..  Elite SA50 motor I'm using (af05e)...  Wheels I'm gonna use.. either the koso wheels, or ruckus wheels, or maybe SA50 white wheels since I have one already..  And my JDM taillight I'm gonna try to use..  [/url
And here she is about halfway into the motor swap..
  ...and now it's late, I'll finish up later this weekend probably. Time to let the puppies sleep  |

I was able to out some more time into this tonight and got pretty far. Got the mount cut and fit, I still need to drill holes in the frame for it. Looks like I might be able to keep the stand..    I need to dig thru storage and find some parts.. a solid strut rod for "suspension", and some other odd n ends like a throttle cable/slide, etc. |

I was able to finish the mount and get the motor on.. still need to take care of some odd n ends.   Mocked it up so I could see how the pipe fits. Man, I need to find a pal 2 JDM taillight or find some pal taillight bumpers.  |
