Why are you wanting to remove the oil injection? Is it giving you problems. I would personally never remove one on a daily driver just for the convenience it gives you. On a race bike or similar I understand but I’ve ran them on 2 70 zumas & a vino 70 for thousands of miles with no issues. Just use good oil. No, but I have a bigger carb and I want to use the oil tank as a second fuel tank, So I have more range.

Not sure how the Aprilia oil pump is set up. But usually you can just remove the drive wheel to the pump. This leaves the pump in place, but none operational.

When I swapped all the intake parts and also the 17,5mm carb to Malossi 21mm PHBG one, I did peek under the oil pump cover, and did try to get some more oil flow out of the pump. I have not done this before, so I failed. Under the 2020 Aprilia SX 50 Factory oil pump cover, looks like this:

Id rather leave the pump alone apart from maybe checking if the marks still line up and maybe bleeding it. More oil isn't necessarily better. Changing to a 100% synth oil Like Motul 710 might be a better, easier option here.

Also, while I was riding, there was some vibration coming and also the bike is making an tin can noise too now. That was not there, after the intake and carb swap. I need to check those out soon. Maybe the reed valve screws got loose or something. I need to change and test other main jets and swap the bottom cover of the carb anyway. Then I take the intake off and check the reed valves and if they are loose, I will put some thread-lock there. Green one is ok or should I use some other color?

All parts that have a gasket between them don't really need thread locker. The gasket's natural compressing out makes the screws stay tight. You could use a little drop on the reed screws tho. I think I have mine thread locked too with Loctite 242. Tin can sound all of a sudden is as far as I can see only possible if the pipe was restricted and it unrestricted itself. Otherwise it doesn't make any sense. By the way, 2t's should make a tin can sound! It's awesome!

As long as he’s jetted right. Otherwise that can be a bad thing.

Making the luggage rack video. from Flux-Core welder to welding with gas (argon-co2 mix) And having a work/welding table. Atlast The table makes my work easier now. Now I just have to make the case mounts for both sides and paint the rack. Or I just mount the case on top. Not decided jet. Also, I have to make a spark plug tool for my Aprilia SX50 too, because the one I have, do not fit because the tight tolerance between sparkplug and fuel tank. I will make it from 21mm car sparkplug tool soon

"Why buy it, when you can make it!" I have two car spark plug tools, what are 21mm, so I will make it from that and also I will sacrifice one of the wrenches to do it.

Yesterday, I went to massage and decided to go with my bike. It was cold outside and my bike died 2 times on idle. Looks like I need to try out the old BR8 spark plug instead of the Denso BR9 series one, or rise the rpm´s
