I usually set seals just below the tapered edge as you have it. Should be fine.

Well I was lucky when I did my squish, the digital calapers i used were working at the time, after I did it they were reading way out, so new set today and im ok .56 says .55 but im happy, I did use sealent on base gasket shouldnt need being brand new, my 6000kg press wasn't strong enough to press gears, so there at shop now getting done, I made up some blocking plates fto do pressher test, so waiting for that to dry and gears to be ready and back into it ,last pic is of 2 orings the black one fits head perfectly but for the life of me I can't find were green one goes any ideas there's noting I can find that it would fit into, unless its for the ignition but for what its malossi team2 rotor set up no lights, ill be running lithium rechargeable batteries

That gasket set covers the 70cc version also so don’t be alarmed if you can’t find a home for everything in the set.

You can see my Zuma thread for everything I found that needed to be tended to.. metal chips everywhere, mismatched ports.. It does run well once together but a lot of quality control issues I haven’t seen with other manufacturers.

Are you using sealant on the gaskets? Search crows foot wrench for what will help you torque the nuts down.

Yes I used selent second time to seal, but there's the problem add more squish, but im winding if a bit more may be a good thing for reliability, I would be happy with .65mm instead of the .55mm ist asking. I've orded a spaner taque wrench so I can do right, I may be doing up to much and that's creating leak, thanks for your help
