Yes I remember that set-up. Didn't you even have a standard early air box. Stealthy! 😉 yes... although i did use an under seat kart air box too, which was quite stealthy

I do plan to make ducts to get better air flow, its now getting plastic over to make look neat, will have grills both sides, cops would pull me over, if I just had rads hanging off bike, and I think will look better, for the look I want, I wish I could just run frame, as a lot seem to be able to do in states, but its getting g there, still waiting on some parts, with Xmas that will be next year by the look of it. Ive always been a big fan of the stealth approach to tuning, especially when you are using parts that arent technically road legal, keeps unwanted attention away from the law... plus keeps other scooter/small motorcycle riders guessing at the traffic lights I dont know if aeroxbud remembers this, but once I had a malossi MHR-rep cylinder that i ground all the markings off and painted black to look like an iron cylinder at a casual glance I was sat at a red light one day minding my own business and a lad rocked up beside me on a 4 stroke 125cc scooter, he nodded at me and said "what cc is that mate" ? I replied with my standard reply "ohh its just a 50cc", he replied "shame"... Anyway the lights went to green and i smoked him all the way to the next stop light... The look on his face was priceless Yes I agree total, ive done the same, but with a yz450r he got me in 3rd gear but I could here him rev it to the max to get past me, its fun, having others just have no idea, that was my 132cc aerox air, but it has 50cc plastics and bages, so everyone and cops think its a very quick 50cc lmao.

Some of those banshee motors make well over 70hp. Should be up to what you need. I I remember you cutting the seat storage to fit it messenger changed a lot over the years.

Lol I think it should get along well, I'm hoping I don't have to on the sr , my aerox with the stage6 rear setup i had to cut out bottom of seat, I just put a clear lid in so I got half the space lol, but I was thinking with carb its going to be sticking out a lot, but you know me, ill make it fit and work, keep neat and tidy, I want this bike to appear to be stock, unless u look at disk size or pipe or here it lmao cant wait

I remember you cutting the seat storage to fit it messenger changed a lot over the years. Back then you could buy a 2nd hand seat bucket for a Runner for not a lot, these days 2nd hand parts arent as plentiful or cheap, so you may have 2nd thoughts before taking an angle grinder to your scoot

Thanks for the info, was a bit disjointed yesterday, but today is a new one, im glad its not just me that got a bad kit, and its all about making it work right, just didn't expect a few things thanks again ill have a look at your post I had to literally rehone my bore on my malossi kits. All manufacturers for these parts leave a little bit of work to be done. I've even had casting marks in the ports catch my piston ring. It's even like this when I built turbo K series honda motors. The drawbacks of mass manufactured parts with little quality control.

Please post a video up. I really wanna hear what this thing sounds like. Your parts list is so custom and radical. I bet you will be able to tune this for low speed drivability, even with that huge intake. Dude sick build for real.

I have had to do same with a 70cc malossi kit, it was .7 out of square, new so you do have to cheack parts, dont worrie ill be posting video of motor running, I can't wait as well,

That's a serious difference in them. I guess one is a 70cc pipe?

That Malossi pipe is a seriously chubby pipe! The true top notch 2t racing machines like the TM KZ10 shifter karts have pipes very similarly shaped. You know its serious business!
