Are you using sealant on the gaskets? Search crows foot wrench for what will help you torque the nuts down.

So this is the sr ill be putting rc into, looks like the koso gage fits nicely, want to keep as stock looking as I can, waiting on spaner tarque wrench to arrive to tarqur flange, and do leak down test again, will redo gaskets again but with, a very thin film of sealent, and set squash, again at .7 like to be at .6, order a rear torsen bar from lmr they make excelent parts, still waiting on, rs24 shock, 34mm power jet mukini, and water pipe, ather than that think I have everything, but we all miss something Hay,hoping to get near 30hp out of motor, but even 28hp in a scooter its going to be quick, the bigger carb, should help and bigger intake and reeds should help as well, will be running on vp100 or if I can get the e85 problem is 300km to nearest station that has all the time, Australia big country,

Started to remove plastics, get a better idea when to mount new rads, looking like I'm lucky and I can hide behide plastic, just cut some holes for iar to pass through, I was suprised at how much, room theres is once you take rad, water bottel and oil bottel, I was going to use the oil bottel for reserve fuel, but don't like the idea of a bomb infront of handel bars, here's a few pics, you can see they will fit nice, I have nice steal mesh to put in front and behind will lose a little air flow, but theses bad boys are way better than stock, think each is better than stock, have led lights and a few gages that need installing, ive worked out how to get around no battery charging, have 2x lithium batters, and ive worked out how to just run power stright to power leed from stator, so everything works off key, just have to have on/ off switch for lights, but ill have that next to water pump switch, iv relised I need to install kill switch to motor, so next thing to look at ,

Another day, well wanted smaller squash, think I had to much sealent, so I tryed to take first ones I installed, but as they were thin they didn't look to good, lol had to tear off so sealet was working, anyway, my tarque spanes arrived today, so I still had 1 gasket that was .2 thinker, but only 1 gasket, so I desided to use it, and not wait for new set, put on as little sealet as I could possibly use, tarqued barrel down, and selent that squashed out was so thin, so I did squash and have .65 asked for .55-.6mm so I don't mind the .65mm, should be maybe a tad more reliable, and I did take a bit out of cases and will be running way bigger intake and carb, this is what's left of gaskets dont think they could be saved lol

Well have radiators mock up were there going, I wont suggest other do this unless you have the time and patience, lol, getting them to fit has been a lot of trile and error, more the error part, well I remove less no matter what, and keep removing till im were I want to be, maybe more work but easyer than trying to replace metal or plastic you cut away, I know it doesn't look that solid, but will have strap at back pulling them to fram, and rubber all round, I do plan to make ducts to get better air flow, its now getting plastic over to make look neat, will have grills both sides, cops would pull me over, if I just had rads hanging off bike, and I think will look better, for the look I want, I wish I could just run frame, as a lot seem to be able to do in states, but its getting g there, still waiting on some parts, with Xmas that will be next year by the look of it. Starp is just plastic but ill use metal

Yeah naked would look cool. Can't run a naked bike here either. Police don't like it, and won't get through an MOT.

Yeah naked would look cool. Can't run a naked bike here either. Police don't like it, and won't get through an MOT. We have a rough council estate a couple of miles away from where i live, and you get a fair few nicked scooters whizzing around the estate. Ive noticed the first thing they do on these scoots is rip most of the bodywork off, probably to make it harder for the police to identify it. So if you did ride a naked scoot on U.K roads, you would constantly get pulled by the police thinking you was riding a nicked scoot. I wasnt aware you couldnt pass an m.o.t though with a naked scooter, but i am a bit out of touch with these things lately.

Its sort of the same here, ive hurd of people just walk off with a scooter from stops car park middle of the day, its bad here to, but luckily most of the bad people are stealing the v8 and expencive cars, its out of control here, I was just in driveway 15min ago and nearly got run over by big 4x4 out of control blown back tire thats what got my attention was it went bang, to see it sliding just missed the 4x4 out front, im at trafficights stright through red light, just missed a old man in eletric wheel chair thing, and still sliding out of control up the road they didn't stop, then 3 cars chasing them, that's a normal day here, and I hate this my town won the Shitest town in my state and country, lmao cops do nothing corts let them go, but I can't ride because of a unpaid fine, doesn't make sence

Ive always been a big fan of the stealth approach to tuning, especially when you are using parts that arent technically road legal, keeps unwanted attention away from the law... plus keeps other scooter/small motorcycle riders guessing at the traffic lights I dont know if aeroxbud remembers this, but once I had a malossi MHR-rep cylinder that i ground all the markings off and painted black to look like an iron cylinder at a casual glance I was sat at a red light one day minding my own business and a lad rocked up beside me on a 4 stroke 125cc scooter, he nodded at me and said "what cc is that mate" ? I replied with my standard reply "ohh its just a 50cc", he replied "shame"... Anyway the lights went to green and i smoked him all the way to the next stop light... The look on his face was priceless

Yes I remember that set-up. Didn't you even have a standard early air box. Stealthy! 😉
