Following this thread. I just picked up a yellow 2001 LC f12. Identical to yours. I would love to learn more about the BWS100 rear pulley. Is there more info elsewhere on the site? I've used it quite a bit on my aerox 100 engine. Has been good to me in that engine, So i was going to upgrade the aerox 100 to the malossi 128mm pulley and put that puppy in the malaguti for its new home:)

Beautiful bike and it looks like you're doing it up right! I understand wanting to match your car but I really like the yellow as well. It's really close to the '03 Zuma yellow which I'm quite partial to I would love to keep it yellow since it's a big wow factor for me. But I cannot seem to find replacement panels:/

Went through one of the toughest parts without a proper tool. A 3 jaw puller made the stator side simple. Cvt side not so much. As much as I thought i cleaned the engine there's still lots of grime. But now that it's apart I can clean it up. And get the ports flowed. Nothing insane as I don't want to do the whole jb weld thing. But enough to flow well for the stage6 mk2 racing, and I guess for whatever future cylinder may find its way to the engine? Just hard to find time with 2 large breed dogs that always need to be cared for (not complaining I love these guys) but seeing one is only 8 months old I gotta keep an extra eye on him when the wife is away The big guy moved ruining the picture -.-

Here's my rough draft, making the shape I'm looking for. Then will sand then with a Dremel bit and hand sand for a smooth finish. It's nothing insane like I've seen here but I just really want to ride the scooter.

Continuing the process of smoothing things out. Gonna call it soon as I did way more stuff than I originally intended. Now gotta measure this side and mark up the cvt side and give it a go.

Cvt case has the shape I need made. Now to flow it into the ports a bit better and hope I don't cut through the case. But hoping by tonight I'll have bearings installed into the cases then slide the crank into the cases.
Which I'm dreading the most.

I was scared 1st time I tried this but it's actually quite straight forward and simple you shouldn't have any issues but gl anyway

So cvt side is good. Bearings installed on the stator side.
Gonna clean and install the bearing on the cvt side and. If possible start it tomorrow.
But it's a big if, as I assumed my crank came with seals.... it didn't. Anyone know of any local stores that carry this type of seal? Really excited to get the engine running.

Crank and new seals installed. What a pain but it's done. Though I thought when heating the cases with the bearings put in, I noticed the cage holding the bearings became discolored. They roll nicely with no sound so I should be alright.

I really wish I didn't have to get new panels as mine are pretty dinged up.
I'm very close to asking my paint guy to just repaint the new panel set, it's just such a cool color.

Slow progress but its being done. Topend has been installed and squish at .06, 9 range plug. Polini not fitted all the way( figuring out the right way to face it). Will work on cvt next. Gotta install some red clutch springs, pink rear torsion spring and the tp variator kit. Should look nice when it's all said and done.

Cleaned up the bearings on the electric start as I may not be able to kick start it that efficiently. But question, does the whole assembly move together on the starter assembly? I can't recall how it functions but Its all put together here. Minus the mhr clutch bell. Busy work week ahead but have the drive to get this put together.
