Gentlemen. A new project arises. This purchase was a bit unexpected, but it was driven a bit my nostalgia. Seeing them in Naples Italy as a kid. 🤌 🤌. So the opportunity came. A local person that's my sales dude for scootertuning.ca told me about his friend having one for sale. The price was too good to pass up. So I sent the money to him. Snagged it up on a Friday I was off work. And drove home looking like a clown Now I was forewarned the previous owner had no idea what was up with it. I was okay with that. So today I took some time to get it cleaned up. Along with my parts arriving. But here's some snapshots of the clean up process focusing on the motor and wheels.
Stage 6 sport pro for now. Polini 4 race Delta clutch Bws100 122mm rear pulley Oko 21mm carb, gotta work something out for the stock airbox for now.Top performances variator setup Vforce reeds. And gonna order a whole set of new plastics. Wsh me luck.

Nice, a F12 phantom. Are those rare over there? I can remember these riding around everywhere 20yrs ago. The red ones were the most common. There was also dark blue. Edit, that was the F15, not the F12. Anyway, how is the airbox setup with these? Just like a regular horizontal minarelli? Aparently some motor parts one these are different from all the other horizontal minarellis. Maybe it was the engine mounts or the ignition (cdi?). Anyway have fun with it! You've seen these? Back in the 90's there was this italian artist called 'Mazzi' who had airbrushed a batch of Malaguti's and those are some sort of collectors item by now.

They are very difficult to find in the u.s as I think they were primarily sold in Ducati dealerships. I noticed the airbox is the same as a zuma or aerox. But the ignition says Ducati on it. Which makes me wonder if timing is different on this engine? I'd love a red plastic set but currently looking for the rear light grill and will most likely order a black replacement set from maxiscoot. (Really like the red to match my car)

Malaguti did a Foggy Replica version of the F12, which they used as pit bikes. I do like your yellow colour though

Malaguti did a Foggy Replica version of the F12, which they used as pit bikes. I do like your yellow colour though I love it too. However it does have panels that are beyond repair I found a new seat panel for sale on ebay for a really. Really good price. But can't find the front shield portion or the bottom portion, or I'd keep the yellow I found a hungarian site selling the panel but they're 680 euros for the front shield. Idk if they are overcharging or what. But the only option for a restore is all black or silver panels

To get the creative juices flowing 😄 😍😍😍😍 see the red is sooo damn cool. And I love the black wheels. I'm almost confused on what route to do for wheels. As my friend at rpg has big brake kits he has on the side for my malaguti. But will need to get aerox wheels. But at the same time the stock 12s with the amount of rubber they have give me the impression of very comfy ride. Also I didn't notice this. But there's no cylinder head temperature sensor on the cylinder head. Is it located elsewhere?? Also Also. I love how easy it is to work on this scooter. 4 bolts and the whole seat assembly comes off giving access to the intake. I'm excited to get the stock airbox out and install the intake and oko carb. I'm thinking 35 pilot and 115 main jet should be a good starting point.
