Drilled and added 1" uni airfilter to the trans cover... this should help keep the Temps down. I did both scoots.

Looks good I have never seen that before most people either saw or drill big holes The Clutch usually needs more cooling than the variator The variator fan should push air through the cvt to the clutch.
Run her down the road and see if your cvt case is hot or just warm to the touch

The variator fan should push air through the cvt to the clutch. This is what the bigger scoots all have. I made such a cooling system for my axis at one point but never got to really testing it. After that i just drilled 8mm intake holes at the front facing side of the cvt cover where it could grab some air. And about double the ammountof holes around the clutch area where it could vent out hot air into the passing air stream while riding. A bit like a car's rear diffusor effect.

I'll give this a try, the sliders felt smooth but mid at top lagging over the standard rollers. I feel they need to be a bit heavier

Do you think one more 1" hole over the clutch ? Pre bug cover.. I will be using the 1"uni airfilter plugs to dress it up @lucasst2

The Vespa 125 pre leader engines have an intake at the front. The cut out for the air escaping is at the very back. But I doubt the CVT cover is wide enough for the plugs. I like the way the plugs look though. Great idea.
